Eh. I have no issue with this. It's nature. It happens. A lion is a predator. It has to kill to survive. I don't know why people have a issue with this. Where do you think your meat comes from? Besides. With no mother there to defend it it would have died eventually. And the title has the word "kill" in it. So if you didn't want to see a death then you shouldn't have clicked on the video in the first place.

Upon closer inspection, I can understand why some people are heartbroken about this PARTICULAR clip of what would otherwise be a very typical scene in nature and wildlife. The calf was actually just a NEWBORN... notice that it's still wet with amniotic fluid covering it's body, and you can actually see it's umbilical cord hanging from the lower belly area at the beginning of the clip. So for those of you talking about the "circle of life" and all, just know that this calf had a very brief circle that may not have even lasted a minute. Even though it's just an animal, it's pretty sad when you think about that.

Its a beautiful scene and its not any more brutal than any other time an animal falls prey to a lion. To be honest I´ve seen that a dozen times in animal-documentaries. I just think its marvelous and awestrucking to see the lioness lurk in the high grass. And as the commentator said herself "its masterfully shot." So nothings in the way of a thumbs up.

This happens every day all over the world and no matter how terrible and gruesome this may look, it is the natural order and must continue this way. One of the club of the lioness was injured by the leading bull when the lioness went hunting. The lioness had to abandoned with great grief the club that would not survive with two immobile hind legs. This is nature. The table turns at times.

I believe lions are hugely majestic. There natural way of life is a must if they are to survive. But search around, there are a few iconic people to care for a directly interact with lions and other dangerous predators.
