I have an 05GT. Nothing crazy. All the basic bolt ons. Full exhaust. Shorty heads, off road H and borla stingers. To the point, I have always liked the look of these model year vipers. Love the body lines on this car. Absolutely beautiful!!!

Viper owner here, Brakes go with EBC gold pads. Oh, just wait until you buy tires. Anywhere from $625 for the fronts and $875 for the back. Make sure the tires are a matched D.O.T set. It sucks trying to find them. Brake calipers and rotors the viper shop in Florida do a great job stocking those parts. Your mechanic will freak over this engineering fact the vipers are hydraulic over electrical ass. System. is the accessories on the engine require correct pressure from the power steering pump to operate the water pump, alternator, and ac. Pretty cool but costly system. Heads and cam package with programming.......$20k. ouch It sounds like a wimp due to the fact that the cylinder is smaller than a V8. Aggressive sound is going to come from a set of kooks headers with the Corsa exhaust. Love the videos keep up the great work everyone

I have an 06 C6 Z06 and my car has everything the viper does in terms of brake ducts in the front and the rear but GM put the T56 in the back of the car for a much better weight distribution. Also making the same power from a 427 V8 instead of a big ass V10 lol. Also lighter with the same power 😉

5:28 it sounds like he's talking about the need to do Double Declutching, some older Porsche 911's have the same issue with their G40 gearboxes, shift down to 1st from 2nd and you need to double declutch to do so or it won't go into 1st.

I have some experience with Gen 2 vipers. They are amazing cars. Just be careful if you do choose to drive it on track they are crazy cars that will kill you and not apologize. Overall great cars though.

Hey guys with regard to the diff in your Viper . Please don't waste money buying/replacing with another stock diff , when what the car really needs is a ratio change from the stock 3.07 to either 3.55 or 3.73 . Having owned one myself it is honestly the best money you can spend as it instantly makes the car far more responsive to drive and allows use of that 6th gear for highway cruising . It will feel like the car has an extra 50-80 HP and put the biggest smile on your face . I opted for 3.73 with my car and it was like night & day the difference in driveability . The Speedometer recalibration is as simple as a chip swap too . Available thru Roe Racing or The Viper Store .
