I haven't played the online mode yet (THANKS A F--KING LOT PS+ SUBSCRIPTION) but I think I got a good strat to counter them Your gonna need spikes and either shock rams or ESFs Place spikes at gas station entrances Everytime they pass through and shockram them away whenever possible, follow their circling in an odd way, so that way when you shock ram them they get pushed back and/or face away from the gas station, and if you have a friend or their back is against a wall and your REALLY sure they don't have a shockwave, try to ram (not shockram, straight up just run into the front) them and try to keep them still while your at it, eventually they won't be able to move away and will get busted, remember they can steer while your trapping them, so try to keep them as far away from the sides of your car's front bumper as possible.

Fun fact: The EMP will get cancelled if it hits someone with an active ESF so if someone is going to hit you with an EMP, activate your ESF and it won't hurt you.

That's more of a one time issue with the server, doesn't happen all the time. But 80 years from now, you can run this game on a top end device and it'll still run like shit

Yeah, multiplayer is very active. The game is pretty bugged and can crash sometimes but if you can get past that, it's a very fun game

@@dri6972 it offers a lot more freedom compared to Hot Pursuit. You can play as any faction whenever you choose and go up against random players in a map while beating the campaign. The cops in Rivals are the most hardcore cops in the NFS series.

In NFS rivals I never found any fun in being the cop, the AI honestly get in the way more than they help at times, and players just camp and spam gas stations.

The guy I was pursuing used the cop car for the racer’s campaign, spammed spike strips and did ring around the Rosie, and going back between 2 gas stations… He ended up chasing me 😂

The main takeaway I got from this are that I'm not the only one who sees everyone else just teleporting around everywhere because the connection to the server sucks. Also, how do you get Heat 10 cops to spawn more often? I've heard the chases are intense, but I rarely ever see the Hypercar cops. At heat 10 it's just a giant dogpile of whatever patrol car is spawning for me and it's really annoying. The same thing occurs with other racer vehicles, with only one car primarily spawning and that car changing every ten or fifteen minutes.

Heat 10 cops are a mood when other players are chasing you. Sometimes they spawn a lot or they don't at all.

Usually they run away after I land an ESF, so I was wondering if there was a way to make Heat 10 cops spawn, but apparently there isn't other than just luck.

Personally I don't like it because it's overpowered, I do see the fun in it, especially against ai. When I go against players, I try not to cause rage so I use regular cars most times

That can definetly be annoying when some ultra sweaty Koenigsegg player chases you all the way across the map. If you lose them, wreck them or enter a hideout, they'll just be waiting for you. And if they do catch you, sometimes they'll just keep coming after you

I have no clue what kind of bug you are talking about, you mean all AI in freeroam spawning in the same vehicle? If so, that's a normal multiplayer bug

Therefore, I have two variations of the chase technology: ESF, EMP (Main) and ESF, impact ram
