Great documentary. Very knowledgeable interesting guests who don’t beat round the bush. We are absolutely screwed, just a shame the ones who least deserve it get hit the first and hardest. It’s coming to us all eventually and soon though. Michael Hudson’s brilliant. I highly recommend watching some of his discussions on YT

It’s an LLM. It’s over hyped and now plateaued. The bubbles gonna burst because it’s far too energy intensive compared to usability. They’ll never get rid of the ‘hallucinations’ (errors) and therefore can’t be relied upon.

It is a bad practice to invent definitions, ask a search engine to define "progress" and the output will be: development towards an improved or more advanced condition. So killing 200 animals, instead of 2 is not progress, it is an increase in economic output, that may lead to waste depending on the context, depending on the needs of the community. Progress is always good, like anesthesia, knowledge that may improve our lives like knowing the effects of exercise, or breast feeding are also progress. The benefits for the common people are the hallmarks of progress. Today tycoons define progress as themselves getting richer and richer, that is wealth hoarding, a mental illness, not progress. Increasing the number of humans on this finite planet, is clearly not progress, indeed, progress would be to live within a cap of sustainable numbers of humans.
