I feel like a lot of WWII games either don't have a lot of weapons or takes some prototypes, when you have so much weapons rarely seen in games like MP28, Lancaster gun, Reising machine pistol, Baretta etc. you could also take stuff from end of WWI its was normal for countries to use the most outdated weapons in times of need

I I didn’t know about the team getting laid off and that makes me even more pissed off. this game it’s such a success and the people who make mods make it even more of a success. There has never been a World War II game that included Greek soldiers that I have known of, The fact that they went into the effort to include diversity into World War II is something that I consider beautiful and a testament to the people that fought, Shame on the developers for doing this crime by not expanding the game like the people who do mods do. Thank you NANO for showing gameplay and keeping this game relevant.

its a shame really because of the faction that youtube doesn't like us naming, regular German soldiers get a bad rap. I know there is that whole thing of regular soldiers were not saints either and also did a lot of terrible things but some were either already in the army or joined not knowing what was to come and some were forced. But the problem is everyone thinks the entire army culture was just N-ism. End of the day they were still people and soldiers like every other army in the world they were just on the wrong side. But now people assume if its ww2 German it MUST be a N.

I genuinely wasn’t aware of the dev team (allegedly) getting all fired, which apparently happened a few weeks ago. But through crazy coincidence I guess, last week was when I decided to try to get back into the game again after almost a year off. So I guess PSA: as someone who has been playing recently, the game is NOT DEAD, and anyone who says so is just exaggerating. There’s still solidly one full server if not two every night (which, as I’ll always point out, is all you need, unless you plan on playing on two servers at once!). And while I can’t speak for what it will be in a few months, I’d recommend just waiting to see what never info comes out; it seems pretty absurd that just an entire game company would be effectively shut down overnight with no information other than a couple rumor sources; not that it’s so absurd it can’t be true of course, but absurd enough that I really doubt there won’t be any public explanation ever (but who knows, maybe the CEO is just the village idiot). I’m sure some random person like me won’t change anyone’s mind about a game, but tbh I just found it so funny that I happened to start playing again right as this huge controversy is happening, and I had clue anything was different until I see Nano’s video today.

The "stop saying PS is dead" wasn't directed at you, it's just your message was what made me look into all that was going on, and then find all the videos that are like "THE DEATH OF POST SCRIPTUM??" It's not even that all those videos are bad, I'm just not a fan of the knee-jerk defeatism that seems to immediately come from every controversial update/news/change in pretty much all games lol.

I loved this game and I think it could have had more wide appeal but it was held back by very repetitive map design and lack of exposure. Initially the game was set during Operation Market Garden which meant that the maps were limited to a selection of very samey looking Dutch towns and villages. Even when new content was added, most servers kept playing the same maps.
