After reading Jim Peterik's autobiography I can only conclude that the saddest part about the band Survivor basically comes down to a couple of things, I don't think they had the best management team that they could have had at the time and the jealousy factor with at least one of the band members was the downfall to what could have been a very lucrative group. oh yeah and hands down without the vocal abilities of Jimi Jamison and of course the talent of Jim Peterik they would not have been as successful as they were throughout the mid 80s.

This is great - Jimi is amazing and the guys are buddies of his they are just as great - together they put on a grand performance here. - Jimi has a voice that is simply Incredible.

Even after death there are people comparing him and Bickler. Shut the hell up. Show the man some respect. He did what he had to do to make a living, in the end, they both sang with Survivor and the fans loved that. Life is short....love everyone, everyday, it may be their last. It's a great song, by some talented musicians and Jimi was a voice the soundtrack to a lot of lives.

ROCKNCOUNTRYFAN Thank you for what you've written here. I first watched this video almost a year ago. I couldn't remember the song or where this performance took place and finally through a friend I've found it again. There was no "fake" Survivor here as one person puts it. Survivor would have been nothing without Jimi Jamison. They may have been great songwriters, but without Jimi's amazing vocals their songs would not have been the same. I miss Jimi everyday. He was one of a kind, a special person with only goodness in his Heart. Thank you for your words.

There is no comparing to buckler. Jimi was by far the best singer and front man for survivor. Hell he was survivor l want to hear Jimi sing. I would of never been survivor fan if it wasn't for Jimi jamison. They will never be the same again without him I'm sorry to say that. I am still grieving for Jimi jamison even now and it's December of 2020. I still love him and miss him so much 💕💕💕. I don't think I,ll ever stop missing him.

@@Alliss616 u r welcome. A bit biased I worked for him doin his website, social media. He was special. I'm gonna tell u a story. Way back when casinos came out he played them. I asked him once if it was hard to sing to a casino crowd instead if a stadium. He replied "it doesn't matter if there are 10 people or ten thousand, they both get the same show." Spoke volumes to his work ethic.

I sing the '70s and '80s music. Jimi Jamison had such a clear, spectacular voice and Jim Peterik is just one amazing person in all of his endeavors before, during and after Survivor. Crossroads Moments well really good CD by Jimi with all songs written by Jim Peterik..

Thank you. I was trying to find more Jimi Jamison Survivor videos from this event but no luck. I see this is his own Survivor Band vs. Survivor. He was great no matter which band he was in. Jeff Adams, bass guitarist, has been with Mickey Thomas and Starship for years.
