It brings joy to see Christians in the US that aren't corrupted by Godless Pop Culture. Thanks you for the video. May God bless you.

I have been looking for this Quartet for decades; I misplaced the cassette and remembered their names as "The Lighthouse Boys". I have Gospel Bluegrass recordings of The Stanley Brothers doing a few of the songs but so grateful to find this post. Thanks, and Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!

I saves at servicemans Center for Christ in Jacksonville North Carolina. They used to play the Rainbow Quartet in the background and their music made the place a peaceful place and help me focus on the Lord and forget the Corps. I grew up on Afro American Gospel but I loved this group. You can hear their sincerity.

@Amber- The first words of the first song are "We used to go to meetings, the preacher preached, we heard amens". I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior in 1981, and not long after obtained many recordings by Bro. Roloff and his young people - The Rainbow Quartet was one of my favorites - still blesses me greatly to hear pure, straight, biblical gospel quartet music like this! No need for pounding beats and heavy instrumental accompaniment - the sacred harp (the voice) is still the best means of praising God and glorifying Him. Can't wait to hear Bro. Roloff lead his choirs in praise of God around the throne!

I believe it was Eric Bowman that became a preacher but could be wrong. The youth pastor was Tom in late 70 and early 80. David Patrick was not a youth pastor at Roloff Enterprises or Peoples Baptist Church at that time. Susan Burgess who posted this video the name does ring some bells. Thankyou for posting Susan

Anyone still watching these besides me? I was able to find Steve Patrick as an adult in a video singing at a church. What an amazing voice he developed!! Anyone know if the rest of them are still in the ministry?
@ladysmith19703 жыл бұрын
The blonde is Tony Burgess. He lives in South Carolina. He graduated from the Rebekah School there at the Roloff ministries. Pastor Roloff taught Tony how to fly. After graduating Tony joined the Army to fly helicopters but ended with a medical discharge due to an unfortunate accident. He still sings at the church he attends. He also went on to obtain his helo license and is also a private and PIC Commercial pilot. He also teaches others to fly. He still loves the Lord, and loves to sing His praises. Tony is 58 years old now. He was around 16 or 17 in this video. His current wife, Susan, is an excellent pianist, and she also teaches piano. Her dad was Pastor Bill Reese.
