Why do I call it rustic? It usually means that I have not a clue what I am doing, following instinct and hoping it works! Over the years I have ate lots of Kievs some and some delicious, but I don't believe that I have ever made them and certainly not in an air fryer, which I am still experimenting with. I always like to buy beat and pouty from either a butcher, I know, not easy to find in Salisbury or a good quality supermarket, such as Waitrose. Waitrose chicken breasts are really good and Waitrose have heard the compassion in farming good chicken award since 2010! They have a page all about their chicken on their website. Knowing this helps me to as part of me would like to be a vegetarian. I bought the breadcrumbs also from the Waitrose lin, normally I make my ow, but at the moment are trying to give up bread. The breadcrumbs are not those bright orange things of years ago, these are lovely, although to be honest I prefer Panko crumbs but at the moment there seems to be lots of shortages still around. After doing this recipe, I am going to do it again, I will probably make a couple of changes, such as chilling the butter into little logs, which will make it easier to work with and also flattening the chicken breasts. I don't think that I would have needed the cocktail sticks? Otherwise I will keep my ideas as it did work well. Thank you for watching. You can find more recipes on my website www.susiehunter.co.uk

Thank you , I have learned since that if you flatten the chicken breast and then fold it over the garlic butter it works very well , although my husband loves my rustic take on it 😂 xxx

Hi Susie. Welcome back, hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and your Granddaughter is still doing well. Your Chicken Kiev looked really taste specially with the chips and peas. You'll be surprised what you can do it's just having a go. May I just say you look so much more relaxed after the Christmas break. Looking forward to your next video. XX

Looks fabulous Susie. Just a question (I recently got the same Ninja as you) why did you remove the tray?
@cookingwithsusie
@cookingwithsusie Жыл бұрын
@@finnualahanley2152 Hi Finnuala , that is a good question! I have not cooked it before and was really worried being Chicken breast it would dry out so my idea was that if it was sat in the butter that comes out it would not dry out ! But actually next time I am going to try it with the crisper tray in and see what the difference is. I am actually going to have another go and try flattening the breasts so I can role them over the butter and people say I should try chilling the butter into a log making it all easier , so I am going to try it that way too . Thank you for watching xxx

Yes there appears to be shortages in all stores, today they mention there will be a shortage of 🍅 at times I would love to ensure these folk that comment do everything so perfect., and also get questioned about it all. All people that cook even James Martin gets such comments. Do people want to see what your cooking or watch you wash your hands all the time. , give them something else to complain about. Take care and thank you.

Thanks Karen, I hate these shortages, it always pushes the prices up too ! When I first started doing videos all the hand washing wash left in 😂 and the videos were too long ! I then had people telling me I washed my hands too much 😂 , you cannot win xxxx

Hi Susie New follower on here, we have the uk300 dual airfryer. Could you please tell me what size those glass dishes you used to make the rice pudding please?, also where can i find the "handles" that can be used to get the dishes out that go in the drawers. Great tips, thank you.

Hi Malc thank you for following me 😊 re the dishes they are 7 inches by 5 inches and 2 inches deep . I got mine from Amazon and there is a link on my website susiehunter.co.uk and it is on Susie’s tools page 😂 . The handles are only made of foil folded several times and placed under the dishes and folded over the outside of the basket , it was a tip another lady gave me ! I have since bought silicone baskets that the dishes sit in , inside the ninja basket and they have handles on but I warn you they get dreadfully hot !! So be careful if you get them . Hope that helps xx
