The tow might have been legal since the disabled permit wasn't on display but he did have one and it was in the car. He could just have forgotten to put it up on display. It's not like he wasn't entitled to use that bay and that tow firm have now removed a disabled man's transport. In my opinion a bit of discretion could, and should have been applied there.

It's fascinating to see the difference between this police work and modern police work in 2024. A few days ago I watched body cam footage of a stop where police caught organized shoplifters stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. They threatened to use pepper spray probably 30 times and never once used it. Minutes and minutes went by of them yelling at the suspects to get out of the car while the suspects basically taunted them and refused to comply. THIS is how it's done. You give the command *ONE* time, then you make them exit the vehicle with any force necessary. Its really not rocket science. When there are no penalties for refusing to comply, of course no one is going to listen to cops. Moreover, it's even more dangerous for the police and the suspect. The longer you have to physically struggle and wrestle and argue, the more amped up everyone gets, and that's how everyone gets hurt. Begging criminals to give up and listen to instructions is insane and ridiculous.

Yes, but it also goes to show how much of an ass the law can be, including because that greedy tow truck driver could have exercised some decency and upheld the SPIRIT of the law, by letting the disabled man go

it is unfortunate that there wasn't more civil communication. look, the guy was abused by the pepperman and that is plain and clear. in this case the individuals with the guns and pepperman aphrodisiac should have taken more time to engage in civil discourse with the man. disgusting law enforcement procedure. find out the fellows issues and carry on from there. pepperboy doesn't look that intelligent anyway and rockstar tower cigarette man is probably as unintelligent and pepperboy
