The difference in Luke's face the morning after Laura came home is incredible. He needed her home and you can tell how happy he is even though he knows there will be major danger for all of them. Their chemistry when they are together is like a force of nature. I love it.

This was brilliant. And bone chilling. Better than most movies with Laura singing in the background such a beautiful innocent song over the slaughter of people who were once someone's babies. Tears.

@sussezq : I actually got depressed, pretty bad, after viewing this. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful that you upload all of your videos - very grateful. I just have a really hard time with any thought of L&L being apart. Yes, I know they aren't real people, but I think you will know exactly what I mean when I say "they are REAL." They became real to so many of us because of the way the actors put their entire hearts & souls into what they did, and because of the incredible chemistry.

@ShelliStuart Oh I understand.... I so didn't even want to post this time frame.. not at all. Kind of did it under duress!! lol I prefer where I left off in the old just plain 95 playlist... and also glad Matuatay2 had posted most of the late 90's stuff by the time I got on the scene! However I so appreciate all the work that TG and GF do together.. it's incredible.. even if it's not feel good.

Luke will never get Elm Street out of his system. He always yearns for more but is never satisfied. His expectations of Laura were unfair, his pedestal too high.

It has been GREAT to see the build up story to the "Lullaby" Oh MY... I didn't know there was any shooting going on at their house. OK, I need to see more now. I am going to sit here and wait all night if I have to... LOL

@sussezq : Yes. It is because of how incredible their work together is that I can hardly bear to watch the scenes when they are not together and happy. I think the way I react is a testament to them - it proves what a powerful and genuine story they create -- with that unique form of magic they possess together.

tg was the end of good gh in mt opinion his demands and attitude killed it. the salary demand drove away jack wagner. the schedule demands and prima donna drove away several others including genie francis you dont like the way gh went blame montey's obsession with tg

this whole sequence was so smart ont he part of the writers..laura singing while the shoot out takes place..very nice play on things. Shows what she wanted their home to be and what their decisions have turned it into..

Oh my..i am waitin for t to load and am super excited..i have never seen this part before..i have seen the shoot out..brings back mmeories of my teenage years....LOL The shoot out story and what follows is what got me hooked..i won;t give anything away for those of you who have not seen this..Genie's acting is amazing throughout this story..you can actually feel Laura's pain.

After reading the comments I think I'll save this for a later time. Who'd have ever thought that I'd care so much about two characters who aren't even real that it can make me feel sad? I'll just remember them how there were before Sonny came along. It'll have to be enough. "For now".

Within the context of the story as written by all writers, Laura caused all of the problems, not Luke. First of all, Miss Star eyes was selfish, and at the Mayors mansion, she should've told Luke about Stefan and Nikolas. He was so happy she was alive that it wouldn't have mattered, but to keep it from him for 13 years is wrong. Next, She should have went back to beechers corners until this thing blew over. But everybody blames Luke.

Boy I wish I hadn't read that darned interview of TG's as he was leaving. It has messed up my enjoyment of these scenes that I am watching for the very first time. I would like to think he felt differently at this time.

He felt very strongly in favor of the LnL franchise until about 2007. Then he just gave up because he wasn't important to the canvas any more and he was spending too much time acting with a wig as an acting partner.

Did the writers intentionally mean to break up Luke and Laura?

I think it had to do w/a lot of things. TG liked taking long vacations & for awhile it worked out ok. Then Genie wanted to be around more & that worked for a little time. But then I think other stuff happened /the Cassidines & since TG wasn't committed to sticking around for long periods & Genie didn't want to work around his schedule, that is what ultimately made the decisions for them. They went back forth but when Lucky found out about Luke's rape of Laura that broke a lot of trust & then Laura seeing Luke sleep wTammy right b/c Lucky died pretty much caused a break-up, then it went back & forth until Genie left for a long time, so that broke them up .I don't think she was getting the perks TG got so she left.
