I totally agree with you, this is probably the best bag Aer has released so far! I will most likely pick 24L one!

I use the Aer Slim Pack and absolutely love it. The Aer Pro Pack Slim seems cool but I dislike that they removed the quick-access pocket on top, which I use all the time. I also think they kind of over complicated the pockets in general for such a slim package. The padding, water bottle pocket, sternum strap and added storage capacity are nice add-ons compared to the original...but I think I might stick with the old one for now. I use it for EDC and travel by packing carefully and with very lightweight/compact items. Thanks for the video!

My camera gear bags are PGYTECH. I plan to buy the Alpaka Bravo sling to replace my old Aer travel sling. Now for my backpack, I also plan to get this. Haha. Multi-brand ecosystem
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV Жыл бұрын
That sounds like a great plan! PGYTECH makes quality camera gear bags, and the Alpaka Bravo sling seems like a promising replacement for your old Aer travel sling. It's always exciting to upgrade and try out new gear that suits your needs. Building a multi-brand ecosystem can be advantageous, as different brands often specialize in different aspects of photography equipment. By selecting the best products from various brands, you can create a setup that caters to your specific preferences and requirements. Remember to consider factors like durability, functionality, and comfort when choosing your backpack. It's important to find one that can safely accommodate your camera gear while providing convenient access and support for your photography adventures. Enjoy exploring the world of camera gear and capturing amazing moments with your new equipment:)

Hopped on to check out the newly designed quick access section on the top (valet pocket); couldn’t get a good look.
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV Жыл бұрын
The valet pocket is a convenient feature located at the top of the Aer Pro Collection, designed for easy and quick access to your essentials. It allows you to store small items such as your phone, keys, or wallet within reach, making them readily available whenever you need them. The valet pocket's placement at the top ensures that your belongings are easily accessible while maintaining the overall organization of your bag. I hope this gives you a better idea of what to expect from the newly designed valet pocket in the Aer Pro Collection:)

can i ask if the sternum strap can be removed? Thanks!
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV Жыл бұрын
The sternum strap of the Aer Pro Collection backpacks is not designed to be removed. The sternum strap is an integral part of the backpack's harness system, and it is not intended to be detached or removed. The sternum strap is designed to help distribute the weight of the backpack and improve its stability and comfort, especially during more strenuous activities or extended periods of wear. However, if you find that the sternum strap is not to your liking, you may be able to adjust its placement or loosen it to make it more comfortable. It's worth noting that the Aer Pro Collection backpacks are designed to be versatile and suitable for a variety of activities, from daily commutes to travel and outdoor adventures. The sternum strap is one of several features that help make the backpacks comfortable and functional, so you may find that it is a useful addition to the backpack's overall design.

Can the Slim fit a small camera cube? Like, a mirrorless camera cube.
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV Жыл бұрын
The Aer Pro Pack Slim is a backpack designed for carrying various items, including electronics and camera gear. While it may accommodate a small camera cube, such as one designed for a mirrorless camera, it's important to consider the dimensions and specifications of both the backpack and the camera cube. The Aer Pro Pack Slim has an External Dimension of 43 cm x 30.5 cm x 10 cm
@MeanderingMax
@MeanderingMax Жыл бұрын
Which camera cube is that around the 3:54 minute mark? Looks like one of the WANDRED minis, but not sure and wouldn't know which one... anyway, I'm trying to find out if the 24L would hold a Shimida small DSLR core unit flat on the bottom; the base to those is around 11.4" x 4.7" / 29 x 12 cm. I'd really appreciate it if you could help in any way. Thanks for the video too!
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV Жыл бұрын
The interior dimensions of the Aer Pro Collection 24L backpack are 18.1" x 11.8" x 5.5" / 46 x 30 x 14 cm. So, based on those dimensions, it is possible that the Shimida small DSLR core unit could fit flat on the bottom of the backpack. However, to ensure a proper fit and avoid any potential damage, it is recommended to check the exact dimensions of the Shimida small DSLR core unit and compare them to the interior dimensions of the backpack before purchasing.

Can the 20L fit a DSLR (with case) if you also have a laptop in the laptop compartment?
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV 2 ай бұрын
Hello! Thank you for your comment. The Aer Pro Pack 20L is an extremely versatile and functional backpack. However, fitting both a DSLR (with case) and a laptop in the laptop compartment simultaneously could depend on the dimensions of your camera and laptop. Please verify the dimensions to avoid any risk of items colliding and causing damage.

One of the notable differences I observed is the materials used in making the backpacks. Additionally, The Pro Pack offers a hidden smart tracker pocket, an adjustable sternum strap with a magnetic fastener, and has a wide-access main compartment compared to the City Pack Pro. I hope this helps! - Kez

Not a fan of the Aer branding here. Much preferred their subtle tab.
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV Жыл бұрын
We understand that you have a preference for the subtle tab branding over the Aer branding. Personal preferences for brand identities can vary, and it's natural to have different opinions on design choices. Companies often evolve their branding to stay current or to better align with their overall strategy or target audience. While change can be met with mixed reactions, it's important to remember that brands are constantly evolving and adapting to market trends. Ultimately, the success of a brand is determined by its ability to resonate with its target audience and convey the desired message or image.

Between 20l and 24l: What’s the difference in length and padding for the back straps ? I don’t need the extra 4l, but I’m concerned about the 20l one being tight and uncomfortable around armpits. Any thoughts on this topic ?
@RushfasterTV
@RushfasterTV Жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, backpacks with larger capacities (24L) tend to have slightly longer back straps to accommodate for the increased size and weight they are designed to carry. Additionally, backpacks with larger capacities may also have additional padding and adjustable features to provide better support and comfort for extended use. The difference in capacity between the 20L and 24L versions of the Aer Pro Pack is relatively small, and it's unlikely to have a significant impact on the fit and comfort around the armpits. The main difference between these two sizes is the additional 4L of storage space offered by the 24L version.

I get why AER would put their luggage pass-thru on their bigger travel bags on horizontal orientation. But on smaller bags like these, who wants to piggyback their small bags on their rollaboards like sideways? I don't.

People who go on super short business trips. I don’t think there’s any harm, there needs to be a gap there for air, why not leave a strap there for more options?

@@inbareform I agree with you on that one but on trips where I prefer to have a rollaboard I would love my backpack (as my personal item) to sit upright on it just so I can more conveniently pull out stuff. Well, at least for the slim version and the 20L. This is where I prefer Swissgear a little more.

Swissgear backpacks are indeed known for their quality and affordability. However, the selection and focus of products in review videos can vary depending on various factors such as market trends, popularity, and the target audience of the channel or reviewer. It's possible that the review videos you've watched tend to highlight higher-priced bags like the Aer Pro Collection because they may be targeting a specific niche or catering to individuals who are looking for premium features or materials. These videos might also receive sponsorship or advertising support from companies that produce higher-priced backpacks. Additionally, the perceived value of a product can be subjective, and different reviewers have different preferences. That being said, it's important to consider that there are numerous backpack brands and models available in the market, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Swissgear backpacks have a reputation for offering durability, functionality, and affordability, which can make them an excellent choice for many individuals. So, if you're satisfied with the features and quality of a Swissgear backpack, it can still be a great option for you, even if it's not featured in certain review videos:)
