Suzi was the first female to play bass and sing rock and roll. She should be in the rock and roll hall of fame. Joan Jett was a STAN, she used to sleep in the hotel foyers when Suzi was staying there. Have a look at the new Sundance film of Suzi's life. Joan Jett is NOT the first female rocker, Suzi is.

We all LOVED her here in Australia. She toured here so many times (and still is) and was on the telly so much that she was declared an honorary Australian. We just LOVE her. ALL of her songs were smash hits here. They never gave her any airplay in the US because they were dirty that she signed with Mickey Most (who was her brother) and not them. THAT is why Americans never heard these songs.

Suzi is the "Queen" of rock - period ! but with an exclamation mark ! Grew up listening to her in the 70's,if it wasn't for her, there'd be no Joan Jett...oh,and the drummer here,Dave Neal sadly just passed away,so I found out this morning. He played on all her big hits, and is considered a glam rock legend as well as Suzi herself !
