The 70's had so much good music, in most every genre. It's almost obscene how much greatness there was. I guess we were spoiled with it back then. I was just a kid in the 70's and I used think music was always going to be that amazing. There's still some good music now, but back then the amount of 'great' you could hear was startling.

I was a teen in the 70s and 50 years later we are still listening to the great music. My 90s kids aren’t listening to the garbage that is music after 1990, but they are listening to our music. Odd! They hated it when I would play it in the car. Now they are playing it for their kids! 😌

FIRST time I saw Suzi Quatro in her tight leather, playing a massive bass and screaming her vocals to CAN THE CAN (A FEW YEARS BEFORE THIS - 72? 73? ) I rushed upstairs, TORE down my Marc Bolan poster - with apologies that he had been usurped - then I PROBABLY rushed to the bathroom. Man she was sexy. Then i found out she was married to the guitarist and Marc Bolan's poster went back up again.

Though they never claimed to be anything other than good friends, you can obviously see the chemistry between them. No tabloids ever reported anything between them either. IMO you can't have this type of chemistry without something. No, they never ended up together, Chris already had a kid or two by this time with the same woman who he eventually married and they have 4 or 5 kids total, think it's 5...4 boys and a girl..here's something I wonder about, tho Chris named his only girl Susan (,after Suzie Qunatro.. maybe? Think possibly they might have had something going on when they were younger...but no reports of it..Suxie married someone in her band or he was band staff and I can't remember if she had any children. Think maybe one, a daughter. She was divorced once and remained..but don't think they lived together, think one of them stayed over seas. Chris did a beautiful duet with his daughter who has a beautiful singing voice. Chris stayed put and raised his family with no drama or gossip and still lives in that house today. But I believe his wife passed away years ago..
