Man I got a decent job with health insurance and all that, and idk if I wanna save up for an adv or a ds. I’m thinkin wr250r (used) or t7. Not sure.

Two very different bikes. Depends on the riding you are going to do

@@onthebackwheel yea and that’s the delima. I’d like to be able to go on Texas interstate highways for 3 hour jaunts in relative comfort , but also be able to pick up my bike over and over again in the woods and not break stuff (or myself.) Gonna have to sacrifice one type of riding for the other.

​@@onthebackwheel nice. it would be interesting to see changes on a dyno. but it certainly seems grunty enough for adventure riding. i'm a more sedate rider and interested in the RE version for long distance touring on road and gravel here in Southern NSW.

@@AndyPat239 I was going to dyno it and tune it, but I'm really happy with it so probably won't. There are a few American guys who have got videos of them with a pipe etc that is definitely worth checking out. If you're going near gravel, I'd definitely consider the 800DE instead
