Hey I ended up dropping a wire down the timing chain while trying to do a top engine rebuild and I cant seem to get that cover off I have it about a quarter inch off all the way around but it doesn't come off easily any trick to it? also the bike only has 4k miles on it should I change the gasket everything I've taken off so far looks brand new. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the video, it's very instructive, I'm going to subscribe to your channel, I like the way you explain in detail. One question, is that one in front a tachometer? I have a C50 too, I'm transforming it into a bagger, I put harley bags, batwing fairing, lower fairing, removed the decal on the tank, ordered some vinyl graphics to put them in the summer, now I'm looking at the possibility of installing 14 " Ape Hangers, and with that I think I'll be fine 😱😱🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for the input, yes it is a tachometer that the previous owner installed, I already sold the motorcycle but will be putting more videos out soon on other cars and motorcycles.

How did you get the cover back on, and lined up with all of the bolts?

The bike needs to be straight up, not leaning on the bike stand, it helps if you have a motorcycle lift or someone holding it straight for you.

i got a m50 that is only running on 1 cylinder. back cylinder sputters and kicks in when it wants. can barely do 65 mph. i've checked the spark. cleaned the injector. what else can i look at?

I have a C50 with a problem…the bike starts and rides but after 5-10 miles it will die like the key has been turned off. I pull over and after about 5-10 minutes the bike will start and ride again for another 10 minutes then die again. Would you have any idea why this happens? Cheers and thanks

It sounds like the bike is overheating and it shuts off to prevent motor damage, and your only able to turn back on once it cools down, I would check the cooling system, note that I'm not a mechanic and I could be wrong, good luck with your project and thanks for watching the video.

What was the mileage on your bike when stator was replaced

When you look at the sight glass for oil level, when the bike is upright (you will need someone to hold the bike upright or mirror, or look in exhaust reflection, or hold bike up while leaning over etc.) you will need to see that the oil is about half way up the glass.
