In almost every arc, she underestimates the antagonist xD Even when it came ot the 1st Budokai, did she underestimate Jackie Chun for a while xD She was underestimating Tien, she was underestimating King Piccolo etc. xD And I'm pretty sure, she is going to underestimate antagonists of the next arc as well (the actual arc, not the filler one) xD

5:50 Like you said in previous episodes before, Namek is a magical race of living beings, and Piccolo touching King Kai made him realize something, like a hierarchy or some spiritual energy beyond what Namek could probably handle. I assume since most Namek are peaceful, piccolo touching Kai made him realize Kai isnt a regular being.

The voices for Kai are much better except for maybe a certain red man with white hair. The returning voices have better experience with the roles. Freeza sounds amazing in Kai, he sounds akin to his Japanese counterpart, being all posh; instead of a chain smoking granny. RIP Chris Ayres.

I know that Piccolo doesn't want to appear "weak" in front of the others, but its crazy that he doesn't see the benefits of King Kai's methods. Chasing bubbles improves cardio and endurance, and it helps you get acclimated to the increased gravity. Hiting Gregory improves strength and hand-eye coordination. Although, I have to point out that gravity training is iffy at best according to IRL science. It's not an equivalent to weighted gear training. Weighted gear affects muscles and bones, but gravity affects everything else, internal organs, eyeballs, blood, brain, etc, and it compresses the spine. I believe there was a NASA study that said that a normal healthy human can safely endure 2x normal gravity for up to 24 hours, but not indefinitely.

Piccolo quickly let King Kai go because he immediatly sensed that King Kai was much stronger than he initially let on. Plus, it would have been bad to pick a fight with him since he is a Kai. It's... a bit against the rules of the otherworld to create drama. :P

Im starting to prefer a move to Kai even though I havent seen it myself. These OG episodes move soooo painfully slow and we havent even gotten to the part where time seems to stand still. I wouldn't be bothered if you switch to it, now I know these OG DBZ episodes where slow on purpose and that the manga wasn't anything like it in terms of pace.

Well, I have watched the Kai and it's normal pace but there is no tension build in that episodes of kai, plus whenever the fight scenes happens the animation and visuals get deemed which makes a horrible experience. It's like you are watching story of DBZ with minimum build up and tension.
