I was thinking the same thing! I live in a big city and going to a remote camping area is always a treat. But then think about this...many vacations I’ve spent going to even bigger cities...so maybe Cecilia and Chris aren’t so nuts, eh?!😄

In reverse, I wonder if they went to somewhere crazy busy like New York City or India if their heads would explode from all the noise & people.

@@CallieMasters5000 I can’t imagine. I live in Kentucky and have no desire to visit a big city. I prefer the 20 minute drive to the nearest gas station. Who knows? Maybe they’d love it. I doubt it though. They live in paradise

I know how stressful it is to drive on a road in a whiteout so I can only imagine how careful you have to be off-road. It's nice that you both are logical about turning around and staying safe. 👍 (And the construction looks like it's going well! Can't wait to see it finished! )

I live in Kentucky. We have 4 seasons. Summer gets over 100 and winter can get -5 or so. Normal winter day is 20-30. Pretty basic stuff. I am absolutely fascinated with your home. The long , dark winters and the way you live. It’s like another world to me. It’s my dream to one day have the privilege of seeing the aurora borealis. ( I’m sure that’s misspelled, the one time I wanted spellcheck to jump in, lol). It’s like a magical fairy tale. I cannot get enough of seeing the day to day life and how everyone lives. The school fascinated me as well as the mall and all the people there. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world. The way you show us your home is very special and never dull. Recently we had an ice storm and I live far out a holler . Our area was so unprepared and I was out of power for 17 days!!! Literally the day after power was restored, it warmed up to the 40’s began to rain. As if now, I’m staying with my sister because we are flooded out. Idk why I felt compelled to tell you of this, I guess I wanted to share how wild our weathers been as well. Once again thank you for you fabulous content!!!🥶❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❄️🌨💧🌧☃️🌊⛈⛄️❄️❄️❤️❤️🎁

I got into a white out on the snowmobile once at night. Luckily we were with a big group. We found the snow groomer way off track. He was very lost! So we all made it back over the mountain. It's very scary stuff! I'm glad you waited! Can't wait for part 2! Thank you!

I am glad that you came back home, and are safe. I once had to drive in a thick fog for 45 minutes to get to school, and had a headache due to constantly looking around and worrying about getting hit, especially between the fields. It was my very 1st experience with such thick fog and really cold weather. I love how quiet and peaceful it is where you live. Stay safe and warm. Grim just melts my heart.

The mom in me was really glad you guys turned around. 👍🏻 My question is, do you ever let Grimm run alongside for exercise when you go on snowmobile trips? As a northern breed, does he need or love to do a lot of running like huskies or malamutes, or are lapphunds not like that? Or do you not dare to let him run alongside because of the fear of wildlife encounters? I remember you saying he loves to chase reindeer. Please thank Christopher for his appearance in your video. It was wonderful getting his input! Can’t wait for part two, as well as the cabin update!
@CeciliaBlomdahl
@CeciliaBlomdahl 3 жыл бұрын
We do! :) Grim gets to hop out of the sluffe and run for a bit (as long as the weather is good so we can see him). His breed actually doesnt require as much excercise as e.g a husky, but he loves running and gets out a lot of energy that way 😊 I'm so glad you enjoyed this video! 🤩🙏

OMG....You bought a Caboose for the sled. When my sister and I were like 6 and 7, my parents bought a caboose, it was attached to my dad's 2 up Scorpion? I think it was a ski-doo? which is what we call it here in the US. I mean that was a long time ago. I am 54 years old now and my sister is 55. Such fond memories. My husband and I were sledding up in Northern ME, US the past 5 days. We got home yesterday. We had such an incredible time. More memories to put in our bank of memories together as a married couple. We were less than 25 miles from the Canadian Border.
