Blinded by the dark I stared into the eyes and turned into The one And I became the one The chain I drag behind The one I vowed I wouldn't give in But here I stand alone, before the one The one I swore I wouldn't give in But all I have is you, the one The one I'm broken from the one Woven into sorrow I'm blind, but still, you love So I became the one The stone I carved inside On an isle of time The one The soul I left behind So pale, out through time The fallen one The one I'm broken from the one Woven into sorrow I'm blind, but still, you love From the heart of wonder Woven into sorrow I'm blind, and still, you love... The light that pierces through broken skies Lay your eyes upon me And find this pain, this grave where I hide And lift me back to you I'm woven into sorrow I'm woven into sorrow My eyes can't see I'm woven into sorrow I'm woven into sorrow I'm broken from the one Woven into sorrow I'm blind, but still, you love From the heart of wonder Laid now six feet under I'm blind, and still, you love I'm woven into sorrow...

This is the irony and duality of life here. From the deeper darkness shines the brightest light ; from the despair of a broken heart, echoes the undying love for a departed soul. Clear voices, harsh voices, melodies, heavy riffs, all coming together to create a piece of art.

Wow, this is something different altogether. I mean, it's not a typical single, it's merely one chapter of a journey to the heart of its composer. The impact is heart-wrenching on its own, but I can't wait to hear it in a right context. I feel Moonflowers is going to be painful, yet somehow comforting, to listen for someone who has lost a loved one. In a way Aleah's memory is present here maybe more than ever.

Maybe it's because he writes his songs about his late girlfriend Aleah Stanbridge that passed away from cancer. I really wish you people who say your fans of a band take a few moments out of your social media life and look into the bands and songs that you enjoy. If it wasn't for Type O Negative, I wouldn't know this band. Unfortunately way too many of favorite bands are dying off because of certain things. Woods of Ypres, Type O Negative and I was and will always be a fan of Aleah Stanbridge solo music, and especially Trees of Eternity that she created with Juha, who created Swallow the Sun and Hallatar. I've lost my grandpa and my dad to cancer lately and this and the other bands I listed have helped me cope my own way when others think it's worse that I listen to this type music. It's just who I am and who I love to be.

Thank you for creating such good music! I've had a crush on a best friend, who was like a diary to me, I could tell her everything. There was a time when I missed her, we lost touch, because ov an argument, whenever I was lonely, I'd listen to your music. It gave me courage to reach out to tell her how much I missed her, she told me the same, I screen shot what she messaged & kept it ever since. I was so happy she was back in my life. We fell for each but it didn't work out, lost touch again because ov my stupidity, my jealousy. But I kept thinking ov her because I adored her, she was beautiful inside & out. A great mother to her child. Then a few years my sister in law took her life. She was the only one who'd tell me how my kids were doing because my other in laws hated me. Then my best friend, the woman I was still in love with took her life as well. I was devastated because we weren't talking at the time. I was planning on telling her how much I missed her. Then a month later my little brother took his life. And ever since all I've been doing was living in fear & sorrow, I worked nonstop & bought so many things, tvs, books, things to distract me from all emotion. But tonight my coworkers told me not to come in because I'm too sick to work, but man, I just feel so alone not working. I can't stop my tears. I can't seem to open up to anyone, but I thank you for creating such beautiful music that sort ov expresses how I feel. Metal music always gives me courage one way or another. Keep rocking! 🤘🏽
