One of my all time fave FZ songs covered by the exquisite Swann! Unlike most of Frank's work this is a very simple song to play on the guitar and is therefore ideal to learn for concerts at Church Halls and Old People's Homes. How I miss Uncle Frank, both as a musician and an original political thinker.

I'm knocked out by this and think Frank - although he despised videos of songs in the main - would love it. Brilliant editing and depiction of the song. I'm disappointed I've arrived so late. Will check our your other work.

I just discovered Swann by accident not too long ago while searching for Slayer's Angel of Death song on my phone's music downloading app... Okay, okay. Now I know what you're probably thinking. Slayer?. Look, I have a pretty wide range of musical tastes and Heavy Metal just happens to be among them so please, bear with me here. Anyways, I stumbled upon her Angel of Death tune and was immediately blown away at how beautiful of a song it is. Chloe's voice is just phenomenal and the guitar work on the song is just sheer ear candy. Being captivated I immediately watched her videos on KZbin. Not much info there, so I Googled Swann hoping to come up with her bio and discography and came up with Chloe Swann and a mere bit of added profesional info. Not bad however. Not bad at all. French, Beautiful, Guitarist, Song Writer and Composer. There's a lot of talent there. All I have left to say is keep it up Chloe. You're definitely going to very high places with that kind of talent. and you have definitely won yourself yet another fan. Yes, you're that good.

Nothing wrong with some psycho emo metalcore or extreme black death rock, mixed up with some contemporary avante-garde and glitch noise-art. Those tastes in music and you're a regular son of a biiiiitch.

Madame, I am blown away and am extremely honored that you replied to my comment. Thank you :) I would definitely Love to listen to your new music and download it to my iTunes file when it comes out. As I mentioned before, I really dig your voice and guitar playing (I too play guitar so I can pretty much recognize and appreciate good, talented musicianship). Your tunes are very well crafted, without a doubt due to your excellent song writing and musical skills. Oh and did I mention the excellent recording production done by the guys behind the soundboard? Yes Ma'am, sounds very clean. Finally Madame, If you ever decide to tour the States please, please make Las Vegas Nevada one of your destinations. I would really love to see you perform and experience your music live at least once in my life time. Once again, thank you ;)

Swann's got some very interesting choices like this one or Pierre Bachelet's Emmanuelle. I can't stand the latter but I can't stop listening to her cover. As far as Bobby Brown's concerned she makes it a little psychedelic and minimalist and that's the point, fed up with cocks on TV thinking the world is a karaoke machine. At least Swann gives her covers another spin. Love her work. And she's gorgeous too.

Superbe reprise d'un morceau mythique. Tout est réussi dans l'interprétation, fallait oser défier le grand Frank Zappa, le résultat est excellent.

who said that it is "supposed" to be anything.. it is what it is as a consequence of who is creating it and who is listening to it.. i think that it is all the more funny for introducing a darker and more depressing vibe..

Dreadful. It's too deep for your voice and you did not manage the groove at all. In addition, the mood is not right. It is not a sad or depressing piece.
@leonidyevseyev8883 жыл бұрын
- have nothing against this video interpretation of the original song, BUT - if the girl was an American - it would have been MORE convincing! common, Bobby Brown is an American guy - HE HAS TO SPEAK (sing) with no accent! just mind this! the image you are trying to create has to have some level of authenticity. What would ruin the song, if a little Indian guy, or a Pakistani, with very little, or no, English - tried to sing this song --- this would have been a disaster! that's what I'm saying...

A song like this sung straight and sullen is ten times funnier and more effective than some cheesy smiling winking hombres playing it up. It passes for just a normal beautiful ballad until you finally catch on to the lyrics. This is genius. It was played often on french national radio JUST because it passed under the radar with it's low-key approach and that really made me smile. The male/female switch within the clip has got to make you 'get it?' No? Well done, Swann. Just as good as Uncle Frank's and I reckon he would have just given it a wry smile of appreciation.
