The only thing I wish they talked about more in these videos is tips on running form. I know there are some cardinal rules, like look forward and relax your body, but I'd love to hear different elite runners mention some details they might think about.

Honest question : with the kind of mileage an elite athlete like Cam puts on in a week, how many pairs of shoes does he go through? A pair every 2 weeks? Great interview!

100 miles is average for long distance?
@tboss8157
@tboss8157 11 ай бұрын
@@josephstalin5003 100 (161km) is very high mileage for pretty much anyone, including serious marathon and ultra marathon runners. Cam goes well over that pushing 150 at times. You need a special durability to maintain this type of mileage without breaking down physically.

for any beginners replicating this workout don't do 7km exactly like he does, he is an elite so he finishes it a lot faster. Try doing: 20-25 mins @marathon effort 2x3 mins @half marathon effort 2km or less speed work, broken up with rest or slow jog
