Careful….those marathon miles add up and will eventually get you if you don’t take a break!

After each marathon taking a 5 day break. 5 day off every 4-6 weeks
@timobrien2566 сағат бұрын
My buddy “beards” may suggest a longer break. He like you kept getting faster with each marathon until he broke and never could comeback. At least he did go sub 2:09 at Boston before he broke:-)

Do you remember how the recovery was with 5mg of creatine (advised as the normal dose) vs the 15mg you are doing now? do you think it makes a difference taking the additional doses?
@sweatelite4 сағат бұрын
Personally I think having more helps more yes but no science behind that

Curious how you arrived at your recovery stack numbers? I think you said exogenous ketones - 40g (I think that's like 4 of those little ketone IQ's), creatine - 15g, and protein - 60g? Trial and error, scientific, and or you just feel good? Creatine effectiveness is kind of a hard measure and 15 is usually recommended for loading in the initial phase. Cheers?

Purely trial and error. Originally I was going 10g, 5g, 30g. I kept trying a little more and at the moment it seems like more is simply more powerful till this point.. I’ve not tried more than this

Hi Matt! Do you take creatine/protein/ketones daily or only after a marathon? I use creatine during the hard training weeks and it really helps with recovery ❤️🩹 but I use it before training and energy levels seems to go up 🆙
