I have never liked marzipan; turns out I've never had real homemade marzipan before, and it's absolutely delicious, not at all like being overwhelmed with an almond extract flavor I've come to expect. I would never have discovered this fact, had this not been requested as a birthday cake. What a treat, it was hard to only have one piece! Bonus, the decorating was so much fun and your video made it easy to replicate! Thank you!

You can omit the almond extract flavor, the mazipan will still turn out the same ☺️
