Bought this for my friend 3 years ago when starting high school. JustU.Faith/HP14Cbook She uses it alot for homework. Never had an issue with it. Still works as good as the day we got it. The colors are as advertised. We got her a coral one. Does not come with a mouse, so we purchased a wireless one. Would recommend!

Based on your review, I decided to purchase an HP Chromebook x360. After using it for a few days, I am generally very pleased with it. I do find the loose hinge to be a little annoying and the display brightness and audio quality to be average. These were the items you pointed out in your video. But overall the display quality is fantastic and the Chromebook performs very well. Nice job pointing out the pros and cons of this device in your video.

I bought this from Best Buy and it’s coming tonight so I’m actually very excited about it because I used to have a similar hp laptop but it got a virus and I had to throw it out. So my mom bought me this!

Consistent Fan noise? Really like this machine but I'm worried about the vented heat sink kicking in

i'm curious how the responsiveness is. anyone use this? do you ever find yourself tapping an app and it doesn't open as fast as you'd think it should? ever find yourself waiting for it to respond?

Hi there. I'm personally not seeing anything like that throughout the course of a day just doing work like browsing, Google Docs/Sheets, Spotify, youtube, and about 12 to 18 tabs open in Chrome.

Artak091 - I've been using the HP x360 14 Chromebook for six weeks. I am typically multi-tasking with three browser windows open, each with 30+ tabs. Then I'm streaming music, connected to my NAS drive and editing files there, using files on Dropbox and Google drive, editing photos with Photopea or Photoshop express, running K9 email client connected to three email providers, and then conducting video calls with either Google Duo or Zoom. Most frequently this is with an extended 27 inch monitor so I've got two screens. During the day, I'm usually displaying charts for real-time stock trading data that streams into one window on the big monitor. This device handles it all. Did I mention that I also use the Nord VPN (via Nord's Android client) as well? The 8Gb of RAM on this unit makes a big difference when compared to my older Toshiba chromebook with 4Gb of RAM. In short, the response to loading web pages is consistently instantaneous (on a good 54Mb / sec over 802.11n wireless). The 8th gen Core i3 processor is very fast for this application, and the cooling fan rarely comes on. When the fan is on, it is barely audible. The trackpad is excellent, as is the keyboard, so even when at my desk with an extended monitor, I don't usually use an external keyboard or mouse. So far, I've been very happy with it. When I'm mobile, I have been able to get 12 hours on the battery (remember, this is still a new device, and I don't run the screen beyond about 50% brightness because it tires my eyes. My biggest two complaints are 1) so-so speakers - for music you'll want headphones. and 2) the large trackpad is a mixed blessing. For mousing, navigating etc it is wonderful, but occasionally when I'm typing up a storm, the palm of my hand "taps" it and something happens that takes a few seconds to recover from.

@Artak091: I've had mine a month now and if you haven't purchased yours yet, go for it! I have owned three Chromebooks prior to this one, each one perfectly so so to average - until this one. I don't do a huge amount of technical things on it, but I love all of the things that were missing from past products. Keyboard is great and backlighting is a huge plus. The screen is also superb and I run mine at 30% with no problem. Track pad isn't the best, but so far I have had zero problems with gestures. Touchscreen is fantastic and I only use my headphones so I can't give an honest opinion about the speakers. I was initially saving up for the Google Pixelbook, but after seeing this one, I'm glad I waited! Good luck with whatever you choose, and enjoy.

Please try to stop going back in time. You are reviewing a new model. Another idea would stop waving the computer around and set it on desk. Show us the features instead of talking about them.
