Short on time for breakfast? Don't skip out, just go the smoothie route! If you find yourself short on time to make a deliciously nourishing breakfast, smoothies are a great way to get amazing nutrients AND can be done in 5 minutes or less.
We typically think of smoothies as a berries and greens thing. But there's a world of possibilities! And yes, you can even add sweet potatoes. This Sweet Potato Smoothie is so good that it's like having dessert for breakfast. Is there a better way to start the day? I think not!
Sweet Potato Smoothie Ingredients:
1 small sweet potato
1 ripe banana
1 TBSP peanut butter

½ tsp cinnamon*
½ tsp turmeric
Top with cacao nibs*
