My experience as a pet sitter/dog walker is that many large dogs have been bred to be calm and mellow around people. Smaller dogs often not so much. They do have lots of personality which is a plus but the little ones can be challenging. My wife and I have two dachshunds who believe the world revolves around them and in our case that’s true. LOL.
