Sweet & Sour Peppers | Agrodolce | Gennaro Contaldo | Italian Special

Agrodolce is Italian for sweet and sour, and this is one perfect way to prepare peppers. This is a super simple Italian dish that can be served as a side dish or even a main! It is a complete flavour bomb and when Gennaro makes something this simple, you have no excuse not to give it a go!

Making this tonight with 2 beautiful red and 2 yellow peppers. Have the capers, the garlic, the balsamic and the olive oil. Serving along side a pork tenderloin with studded with rosemary and garlic. Fresh steamed native asparagus with butter and lemon and roasted broccoli. A feast! Thank you Gennaro!!!💜🙆

I just saw this and had to make it. Luckily I had capers and olives. I was in HEAVEN. I didn't have the Italian bread, but I found it so great with a leftover baked sweet potato I cut into slices and let fry in the pan and soak up all the goodness. What a great side to wine with neighbors. And so easy to make
