As someone who has worked on many farms and has dealt with this type of stuff there is a few things that I can say. 1. The car park thing. Yes provided the pile gets big enough and stays undisturbed for long enough it can look like a car park. (I have made that mistake as well thinking it was a car park.) 2. The guy smoking. Yes that literally shit is very flammable. Also, for those who don't know, the reason why you never cover shit pits is because of the heat the pit generates. The tarp on top will catch on fire because of the heat. And it stinks. A LOT. 3. The cleaning. Get that off of you as soon as possible as it just stinks and also if you have open wounds (big and small) could be a health risk. 4. Turning the heat up. Turning the heat up makes the decomposition process accelerate hence why the smell got so much worse. And also the boots. The fact that you needed 2 people to get them off. Damn.
@gnarthdarkanen7464
@gnarthdarkanen7464 2 жыл бұрын
Especially on the cleaning up point... There's more than "sewage" in there, and bones are dangerous enough on their own, particularly since farmers and ranchers aren't often in the habit of post-mortuum medical exam's on dead livestock... No telling what killed them... BUT also because there's NO QUICKER way to get a septic wound than to break the skin and mash sh*t in it... It was effective for the Vietnamese to dig small pits into which they'd put a "punjy-board" (basic board with spikes pointed straight up) and then take a dump on it... A soldier who can't march (or walk) can't fight either... Be careful out there... ;o)

Cigarettes burn below the flashpoint for gasoline. Sparks from static electricity will ignite it but no one freaks out about that. Opening a car door causes a spark at the door switch which turns on the interior lights, but people open their car doors all the time near gas pumps. But smoking is prohibited. I'm not sure of the flashpoint of poo vapor but I would rather be safe than sorry and not risk it, even if it's a well ventilated area, like the great outdoors.

He came upon a group of furries having an orgy and tried to just join in and was naturally sent off on his way. He continued into the woods and apparently came across another furry except it was an actual bear. However when the natural painkillers fade out the pain comes back and you are fully aware of the trauma you have experienced. As for the other case - you can only cope with the sh*t shame or not. The wind hit me and I managed to step on a patch of ice, wich made me slip and almost fall in the the new empty pit we were working on. But somehow I managed to correct myself and took a step back onto what I beleved was a dirt patch... It was not. I slide down as far as my chest before my friend managed to grab ahold of me and helped me up. Would not have been able to get out of there my myself. it was like trying to swim in oil or such.

In Germany you need a silo to contain these pits and warning signs and stuff. That is great an all, unless you are good at climbing and manage to fall into the mandatory ventilation hole a the top. This nearly happened to me at about 12 years old. I am still very scared by the thought.

Falling into a poop pool: bad, really, really, really bad Almost getting burned alive: I didn't think it could get worse telling the paramedic if she wants a fisting: well... somehow it got worse Being hit on by a random dude at the hospital after those three things: the worst part. I like when you tell this story because then I have no reason to complain about my day.

This is a funny story. Sometimes you just need to hear others stories when you're going through a struggle to realize that a current situation could be way worse than it is. I may be going through a rough patch but at least I didn't end up in a pit of crap. Bless you Anita!
