What those two young birds had to endure the first months of their lives.... Sibling rivalry; attacks by shrikes, mockingbirds, owls; violent weather; intruder eagles.... much of it playing out to a dedicated audience on a live web cam. I never watched a live streaming nest cam before this year, and it's a mix of exhilaration and heartbreak. A major bonus was having the Real Saunders videos that brought the sheer majesty and beauty of these birds into sharp focus. Fingers crossed for the next cycle of life for the eagles of the SWFL eagle cam.

Glad they got along so well after E22 returned the 1st time , leaving for 5 days. Prayers they both live fruitful, blessed Eaglet/Eagle lives, like Harriet & M15❤

Oh they are so majestic!!! 💕 What a season last time!! We watched Harriet and M15 work diligently to rebuild their nest that had been destroyed!! Little did we know that would not be the biggest tragedy of the season!! 😔💔 With the nest ready Harriet present us with two beautiful eggs!! She kept them warm and M15 provided her nourishment!! Then we had two little bobble heads!! 😄 They were so cute!! Harriet and M15 provided them the food to grow!! As they grew the boinking began it was hard to watch and we worried if E22 was getting enough to eat but Mom and Dad had it under control!! 🖒They were growing so fast becoming beautiful young eagles!! Then one day Harriet chased an intruder off and we waited for her return!! Day went night and then day after day went by and our beloved Harriet never returned!! 😔 The heartbreak was unbearable!!! 😭💔 M15 looked and called for her!! But it was not to be for her return!! We resigned ourselves to the loss of our beautiful Harriet!! 😭💔 RIP Harriet 🌈 A life well lived sweet angel!! We will miss you forever!! 💕 M15 left alone stepped up to raise those presious babies!! He fed and protected them around the clock!!! Looking so tired at times we worried about him!! 😯 But days went by and E21 and E22 grew big and strong and as mother nature bequeathes they learned from their Dad and left us to live their own Eagle lives!! 😙 Fly high and carry on your mother's legacy!! 💖 We now are looking to a new season ahead!! M15 has a new beautiful love interest!! 😊 Working together on the nest!! So we wait to see if we have babies to love and watch grow!!💕

What a pair these two were and how joyful they were to watch. E22 fought so hard for his food at the begining but soon learned what he had to do if he wanted to survive. M15 was an amazing provider for these eaglets, the bigger they got the more he did. I loved both these eaglets and was sad to see them both leave to make their own way in the big open skies. I just hope they are safe and in good health and using the skills their dad showed them to survive. Thank you so much for this video, although the season started off with an early tragedy it eventually became a perfect success and hopefully M15 will introduce his new eaglets to the world watchers in the oncoming new season 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

So peaceful, I belive these babies are surviving and thriving🐥🐥 They got a birds eye view of how it can actually be in there world and had to learn hard lessons about how easilyfood can be taken. Psst, your title means to say: "E21 breaks E7 Record!" 😉 ~Myself, I never assume a thing, so for me, I don't know if E21 took off for her solo journey early or if - God forbid - something horrid happened to her. 'Not a pleasant thought I know, however, I presume nothing. I choose to hope that she did exactly that = leave early but in my head and heart, I simply don't know. ~~This video gift is awesome, thank you very much! 'Lovely to see the two of them hanging out together in this very special video. It was such a hard season to observe, but harder still on M, as we know but he showed his stuff as Super Bald Eagle Dad, rising to the occasion as a widowed, single father and going above and beyond to raise two gorgeous, healthy, strong and vibrant offspring. He's an amazing bird! I will hope forever that he and his beloved Harriet's last offspring are indeed out there, growing, maturing and thriving on their own.
