I think the protection gain should be capped at 100%, once she reach it out of turn, she can't gain anymore protection even if she falls below the extra 100% protection cap until her next turn. This way she can still punish her enemy by taking priority attacking her, while making it balanced when the match become a 1v5 situation.

I go against traya(L) Nihlius Sion Enfy Deathtrooper alot in arena Rex(L) Deathtrooper Nihlius Han Thrawn works pretty well against that team just by constantly increase the others cooldowns

Rex, Enfys Nest, Visas Marr, Nihilus and Sion. Thinking that could do the trick on just about anything Sith on offense.

A really good strategy Against nest is to use Sith (With Vader) and actually NOT use Annihlate on her, Use annihlate on a more threatening Character like Traya,Sion or Nihilus. Vader's Culling blade when nest has enough Debuffs in her can easily one shot her before she gets to crazy and even at end of match Vader can End her pretty simple. Utilize Vader and Nihilus specifically and Nest is easy to deal with.

great strategy. I've tried it, its just tricky to pull off effectively when you have a nihilus time bomb, traya isolating you, sion taunting, etc. Hopefully an easier solution presents itself.

Nest is beatable. Death Vader can one shot nest with culling blade with enough debuffs Everything is beatable but as Cubsfan said: it’s about trying to make that fight as miserable as possible

The problem seems to me to be that she isn't just a strong counter to teams that prevent you from taking turns. She's strong against everything, and she has maybe 2 counters in the entire game.

My guild mate and I have been talking about this character for. Few days, have you considered testing sith assasin on a fractured nest? I’ve had mine crit for 30k directly to hp from the lightning attack while under stealth, and if nest can’t go, she can’t steal health. Or at least, that’s the theory...

I'm a little late to this video and commenting, but I really hope people aren't still having trouble with her. She's actually reasonably easy to beat. On day one there was at least 3 7* Nest's on my shard, and I beat her easily on day one. Why? Because I read her kit.. I haven't had to farm a NEW character just to tackle her, or change anything up either. You can either still run the Rex team, but swap either CLS or Han out depending on the situation for Nihilus if you NEED to. I haven't once because all I do is hit her once with a big hit, then work on whoever else. Han gets his big hit super fast, so she's usually dead in 3-4 turns from Han. She's definitely a solid character, but she's manageable, so I completely agree with CG saying they don't have any nerf currently in the works for her. She's just a different kit that requires a different style of play. INSERT [adapt improvise overcome meme]

JTR, R2, BB8, IPD and IG88 should work fine. Take Sion or Nihilus with the IPD, R2 stunn and IG88 stop here protection. I play this team in my arena and im top 10 since the IG 88 rework. BB8 with 298 speed for the win!

Great question! I found it more frustrating to fight with thrawn on the other side especially when thrawn is fast. I did test it, however, and it's miserable all the same.

CubsFan Han I just assume that with trooper this team is an all round counter. Another sith tank with ALL the bonuses from traya. Cls doomed, rjt doomed and palpatine may lose bc sith cleanse and when they drop below 50% health, trooper will disrupt your try to kill nihilus etc.

fantastic question, it actually does not. "Protection up" is a temporary effect (which is why the protection is purple) vs regular protection *gain* which is permanent. The healing immunity only applies to health/protection gain.

Rob Lechot interesting thought, but her aoe applies daze to the enemy. Not allowing the enemy to attack out of thier turn and remove turn meter is crucial in the current meta. If you want to take full advantage of it, preferably you'd want nest to go first so she can apply the daze/turn meter removal. Good idea though!

For sure, better to save the big attacks for her. This is also a fragile strategy because she has the health steel up from her unique and so if you dont time it right, you could be in trouble. Also, these strategies aren't always obvious immediately- we're all learning how to deal with a mechanic we've never seen before.

The concept of creating an anti-TM removal character is definitely a good one, but the fact that you simply can't use characters like Thrawn, Han, and CLS anymore kind of ruin the experience. I feel like I if have the battle down to a 5v1 like your first clip, I shouldn't lose. There's a difference between me not being good enough to win and CG creating an immovable object and forcing me to change my Arena team.

Honestly I'm not sure I agree with this. What makes nest so OP can be largely attained F2P right now at 3* g11. You miss out on raids and a gear tier as F2P, but IMO the balance between F2P & P2P is managed very effectively in this game.

Miami Heat WTF are you talking about. I'm basically free to play in this game, and it has been more than 6 months that i'm in the top 5 everyday in arena. For example with 3* Talzin, 3* zombie, 5* wampa...I always was "understared". Oh yes you are being attacked a little bit more, but with the right team and strategies, I have no problem being in the top. Now it's just traya who is causong problems, but I'm slowly figuring out how to beat her (RJT with full resistance) and I'm still in the top of arena at my payout, even though there are at least 10-15 whales around me

Get top 5 arena in ships and fleet for the next month and you can F2P nest to 5 star easily, buying a pack every 2-3 days. I did this with Scion, than finished him between shipments and hard node, really wasn't too bad

The game is broken when a team of fully geared legendary characters can't kill a marquee character at three stars. Once EA gets it's money from people buying packs she will get nerf, like sion.

It's not as bad as it looks. They've given us a character that you have to think through attacking, which I am a big fan of. You can definitely beat nest, you just need to know to not fracture/stun her, and to attack her right after she takes a turn. Annihilate is the safe bet, but it's not the only option. It's a puzzle and I'm a fan of how different this one is.

You get around the protection up simply by not fracturing or removing HER turn meter. Leave her until the end, don't be lazy and hit auto, and she's really not difficult to beat.

Noah Braun hey bud, chill lol. It’s a brand new character and we’re all figuring her out. Like I say in the video, TMR / stun mechanics are what she counters and some of the footage shows that by failure. It’s obvious to you and me now that weve had time with her but some of these battles are my first time ever facing her. She’s probably the only character you can’t get to 5 on 1 and hit auto with.

New character we're all still figuring out but even since making this vid the strategy is settling more. Try to save big attacks for RIGHT after she takes a turn and then GO NOW GET TO THE CHOPPA!

The first footage is very valuable! It shows *very* clearly how important it is to let Nest take a turn. I left it in to make that exact point. Nest functions like no character we've ever seen, so it will take people a bit to figure her out.

Always DTF yeah it works! Traya definitely takes it to the next level IMO. Throwing nest in a jtr team is also pretty effective
