Heh, that's not proof. This was an old bug back in wotlk when mutli-passenger mounts were considered vehicles. Doing the a certain questline (can't remember the name) that sent the character to orgrimmar to talk to thrall and others which eventually led them into taking Undercity back. Well anyway when you were sent to orgrimmar if you had the traveler's tundra mount you could mount up in it and for some reason the game would phase you in normal org. Hence why he can be seen on his mount only.

this is part of the quest chain that leads to "Fate, up against your will" which is a quest that Jaina Proudmoore teleports you to a phased Origmar. While in Origmar or Durotar on a reg mount or walking you cant be seen at all and are not supposed to but if u go up to the blimps or jump on a siege vehicle like the Mammouth then the other ppl can see u. When hes in the water hes jumping from the barrens to durotar and ppl are getting flashes of him, their is no disconnect or reconnect.

It was called Herald of War. It's taken out of the game but it use to be a part of a questline chain for Battle for Wrath gate. Besides since passenger mounts aren't considered vechicles anymore this bug wouldn't be repeatable.

For those of you confused he used the Q chain which has been said before. But for the people wondering about the Tauren teleporting was he wasn't really teleporting. Swifty was just going in and out of Durotar which made him disappear to everyone.

Lol, a buddy of mine taught me this in icecrown a couple months ago. when you change zones on some area borderlines, after you cross the border, objects and players on the other side will completely disappear off your map. As you can see swifty is having fun with it haha

It's no trick :) It's a Q chain, where you will get summoned to Orgrimmar, there's only you, Thrall, Sylvanas, Jaina, and Varian. But if you ride a vehicle - Traveller's Mammoth for an example, you will get visible to players, but if you then dismount you will dissappear/ the players will dissappear. Very easy. Done it myself after watching this video ^^

I'm guessing you are phasing in and out. The part where you were in the barrens and where thrall was walking back and forth is what tipped me off. Really cool vid.

PART 2: it would phase you back into normal Orgrimmar where everyone could see you but you couldn't see them. So they'd all attack you and when you got low health you'd unmount and vanish away from normal Orgrimmar. This has been fixed now but mostly just because they made all passenger mounts not vehicles anymore. That's why you can't fall from an unlimited height from your Mammoth anymore and not die.(Before you could fall from your mammoth and it wouldn't kill you, it would kill the mammoth

this is done via quest in Tirisfal Glades , it starts in Dragonblight , then it goes to Stormwind there u must claimb with allyance forces to get to Undercity to Sylvannas, if u got the quest and u didint complete it , all Horde capitals when u go are empty until u complete this quest

Its the wrath gate quest, with phased terain. When he is on the tundra mamoth he is visable by the horde, when he dismounts he is invisible to them. however all the time Swifty can never see the horde.

I think it's the quest where you have to retake Undercity, Orgrimmar then gets put into a different zone kind of, that's how he cannot see them but they can see him

PART 1:Explanation for those confused: In Wotlk there was a quest that sent you to your factions home city in a phased area. Can't remember the exact quest but it sent you to your home city in a phase. So you couldn't see anyone else in the city. If you were alliance and got this quest, you could go to Orgrimmar and see all their phased stuff for the horde side of the quest. No NPC would attack and most of all when you mounted on a vehicle (OR Mammoth, which was technically a vehicle back then)

hes in a different phase to the horde, so at certain points he will disappear from their screens, making him basically unbeatable

I did this trick too. I try to screw with the Horde and then log with a horde character whose at Orgrimmar, to see the reactions of the people. Definatelly worth it if you have the money and patience for it and the quest.

If you guys wonder, there was a quest where you could actually walk into the opposite faction capital to talk to the leader. That was guards don't attack you. thumbs up so people can see why :)

wrath gate quest line the part where you get to attack undercity you get phased to diffrent versions of the main city thats how he does this. you can see it at the part where he is in thralls room you see sylvanas kneeling and the portal to UC i must say its a pretty wicked trick

I bet someone said this before but (354 comments atm). During the Wrathgate quest you get phased out from everyone else, hence no one is really able to attack him.

It's a bug :D It was on my server too when I went to WinterGrasp... healers used it to heal and couldn't be touched... It happens when you "step" onto certain places...

ah i get it your in the undercity questline from dragonblight, were you speak to thrall you didnt finish it and came back to org so you changed phases depending on location pretty smart

He is dissapearing this way, by using an invisibility potion. IT turn the user invisible but he cant be seen by any npc (Including Thrall) and he also cant see any other people. That is why when he was in the river with the DK and he used it, Swifty turned invisible and so did the dk. Well the dk was still there but swifty wasn't

Well, it's required... he was instantly healed to full on our screens everytime he reappeaered during that phasing. That's why he couldn't be killed in org.

Im not sure, but i guess it's shadowmeld bug. When you shadowmeld and logout you become invincible for everyone and any dots would break this. Im not sure it is working in 4.2, but you still could do this in earlier cata patches.

On PVP servers where we dominated population wise, a good trick would be to send some "Gophers" into the enemy camp to get everyone flagged. A warrior or two and some pocket priests would do the trick nicely. Once everyone is flagged, the real fun starts :) :) :)

@raimonds985 in the alliance version of the wrathgate questline jaina makes a portal from sw to orgrimmar to speak to thrall while you are there orgrimmar is completly empty.. i always thought i was in a quest version of ogrimmar i didnt know i couldnt see horde but they could see me thats a bit wierd... maybe he didnt take the portal and went there by foot insted which created this bug..

Ya, its simple, the quest to go to org with jaina proudmoure to talk to Thrall must have bugged a bit. In that quest the NPC's in org are neutral, and if you'll notice in swiftys little box, all the Players who are chasing him arnt their.
