I’m not gonna lie, this is fantastic. I’ve never been to the uk but I would love to go to this place and close my eyes and listen. I find so much calmness with the smell of chlorine in the pools, everyone happy and all the sounds of the water all around me. That warm yet cool water. It puts me so at peace. Indoor is amazing even more because the sound is echoing and you can hear the ac and air system blowing in those huge tubes at the ceiling with the giant buckets of water dropping every once in awhile

I am from the UK and I have had both good and bad experiences at a pool. I nearly drowned once, not in a UK pool in a Greece pool but luckily my brother was an aspiring lifeguard at the time and pulled me out. However I have always been a water baby. If I can get any opportunity to swim, I WILL.

This pool is the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at Center Parcs. That calm feeling of total relaxation (especially at night time when it’s not so busy). After a refreshing swim, find a quiet spot sheltered by tropical trees, wrap a warm towel around your slightly cold, shivering body, sit back, close your eyes, and just listen to these calming sounds of rushing water and joy. There is simply nothing else quite like it.
