Great video. Thumbs up to you, Anita, and Brittan. I have been looking for a long time that explains to difference in the different photographic styles. I wish someone like you would write a book that did explain the differences. At least the basic differences. If you do decide to write such a book, put me down of one. I am sure that every photography would want a copy.

Well, you had your ass handed to you. LOL Anita is such a commercial beast on the beach and oh so intimidating in that she does so well. I think you moved away from your style a bit on the beach, you can do better. I use to watch anita more, but I became bored with the same same. I watch you because you are constantly teaching and the variety of bodies and clothing you work with along with your very open honest, silly, style with the one two punch of whitt and professionalism keeps me coming back. I admire you both and try to bring each of you with me when I shoot. I will be moving into people photography in the next year and will take the lessons from all my youtube coaches with me. :)

Anita is a great photographer, and her hero-shot mentality is really refreshing to see in the age of spray and pray amateurs. I will say that if I showed up to a shoot dressed like her, I'd never get hired again. Benefits of being a woman I guess - they look hot, we look homeless. 😅

I can’t speak for this swimwear photographer specifically, but in general that is so NOT true that swimwear photographers don’t care about the model’s look. I am a professional freelance model and in my experience swimwear is the genre with the pickiest photographers when it comes to body type. Much more so than boudoir, artistic nude, glamour, beauty, or portrait.
@gabriellavalentine56143 жыл бұрын
She never said anything about other photographers...she said she dont care about body type or skin color...she only cares if you have confidence

@@gabriellavalentine5614 that’s fine, and that’s awesome that she works with plus size models. In my original comment, I was just saying that IN GENERAL, swimwear photography has pretty strict standards for model body types.

Hi! Maybe you have already shown/answered this on some video... I haven't seen them all yet. But do you make some skin smoothing on your photos? Some editing I have seen on the videos but in those I think you didn't do any skin smoothing. I am an amateur photographer that would like to try boudoir/glamour photographing as well and there has been some discussion with potential model that maybe in summer after vaccinations we could have a photo session. I was looking your presets and might purchase them if the photo session is realized... and while looking the web page I noticed: "Designed specifically to soften skin even before any skin smoothing is applied." That is why I am asking.
@sorronmies3 жыл бұрын
I will reply to myself 😊 Just found the video called Lightroom Skin Smoothing Hack for Portraits. So you do.

Hey Michael hello sir, I have a Canon EOS 600D I have a professional IG should. I upgraded to an Canon EOS R. I have been looking at or the camera don't matter to get razor sharp image or course. I would like to make money doing what. I love but I don't know what to charge. Any advice?
@mavfan13 жыл бұрын
The problem with your question is you don't say what kind of shooting you want to do to make money, and "a little of everything' isn't a good answer. If it's boudoir you want your photos be sharp but you really don't want them to be razor sharp. Razor sharp means you're seeing every wrinkle, every pore in the skin etc, not something a 35 year old mother wants to see in her portrait. But for boudoir you might also want something newer that has better low light performance. If it's sports, or wildlife you absolutely need a new setup. If it's corporate headshots with a strobe even the 10 year old 600D, with 18MP is enough.

hahahaha the bikini shooter says its not about their looks... hey a bikini shooting needs a smoking hot body if it has to look good. the best thing is when she said maybe the woman is more curvy and then a girl with a perfectly fit and lean body is showed😂 most of what she said would fit a boudoir shooter but not a bikini one. bikini pictures are not meant to show the girls character..
