I'm 20 now, but I remember watching this so many times as a child. It was on one of those "over 50 hours of classics!" Cheap Multi DVD packs. I loved this movie and the story was seemingly so dreamy. What 10 year old me knew about getting evicted and process serving, I have no idea 😂.

They are sorely missed. They bring the gift of laughter to us when we need it. Laughter makes life's problems seem a little bit easier at least for me. No matter what is going on with my life, I can watch them and forget my troubles for a time.

Anyone who grew up with 'My Little Margie' on TV have no idea of just how talented Gail really was or the range of her talents. Had she not arrived on the eve of the decline of the major studios, she would have been total movie star not just on the small screen.

Notice that Connie Boswell is sitting for each of her numbers. Connie sang from a wheelchair - or seated position - during her career, due to either a childhood bout with polio or a fall from the back of a coaster wagon. Gale Storm is simply drop dead gorgeous! Is wish I had a time machine. I would have loved to have grown up in that era when women were polite, faithfully committed to their husband's/boyfriends for the most part, and had wonderful music. I'm a 31 yr old male trapped in the wrong present era.

I agree, women during most of the 20th century were truly beautiful. I also think women were funnier in the 20th century since they did more slapstick at that time (and very good slapstick) than any of the boring modern female comedians. Gale Storm was both a beautiful woman and a real funny woman all at the same time.

There are those who do not find the Stooges or the classics funny or enjoyable for some reason. I personally find them hilarious and quite relaxing, so I don't get it.
