Here is what I know from my mate who was in swinging 17 yrs with his former wife. First, two women found THEY wanted out of their marriages and moved in together. Decond a non orgasmic woman did NOT get cured by swinging...my mate really liked her and even bought her a toy, no luck. she took it home amd no luck. 3. My mate's wife fell in love with a man they swung with alot at private parties, clubs, and as two couple swaps. They began an affair but the man didnt want to leave his wife and children so that relationship did not work out....but it prepped HER to.leave my kate! He had had financial setbacks and I am sure was not as attentive as he had been...it was just a bad scene with neither getting what they needed anymore. I met him the night their divorce was final ..He was GREAT with me...and not really overtly wounded by any of it, but his financial reverses , THAT he had to work on, the psychological blow THAT was to him...Im a clinical psychologist so I was not unprepared for this. The happiest day of my life was the one I met him and no, I am not into swinging. Nothing INHERENTLY wrong with it..relationships can be messy no matter what..they also can be sublime and their is no perfect foolproof model of a love/sex relationship. I've watched many of your videos. Part of my fear is not having actual alone time or true "making love sessions with my love" due to this lifestyle and feeling pleasured enough during those experiences and not frisky with me alone.

Here's the interesting thing about being in an open relationship. More often than not if you talk to others in the lifestyle they will confirm that being with a play partner does not "take away" any intimacy with our partner. If anything it ignites even further our attraction and appreciation of our spouse. This heightened sense will have us seeking out our partner, making for even more intimacy.

Your comment is a perfect example as to why it is so important to understand all the different ways in which couples can have a long lasting union. What might work for one couple may not work for another, and that's okay.

Can swinging help a relationship im with my high school sweet heart its been almost 20 years im bored and i can tell she is also, we have went to club privata in Portland, the people there were so respectful asked to touch her legs and i looked at her she gave me the sign, so i said yes i didnt feel any jealousy at all, granted he only rubbed her legs. Now im fighting for her attention its been rocky for the last two years shes pushing awsy and im dying to make her happy. We dirty talk about adding a female first then maybe a male she is shy and insecure lol fyi she was miss teen missouri when we were in school, she’s gorgeous. Am i barking up the wrong tree or in my head what do i have to lose. Shes already pushing away atleast i can be sure she is safe fir oir children sake.any advice will be gratefully received

It has been our experience those couples who try to introduce an open concept into a troubled relationship only end up magnifying the issues. Swinging isn't something done to "fix" a relationship. We've found consensual non monogamy is most successful when the union is strong and secure.
