Gotta say great video !!! Im ordering one for my 16 Jeep Unlimited and found your video - very nice, I will be using this as a reference when I do my install - One of the better informative You Tube videos - I liked how you took the time to show your connections without leaving use guessing. - Gets my LIKE !

Ive been looking online at light bars for my truck, and for my number but got worried because all of the wiring and harnesses and all that crap. But you're video was really easy to figure out and was really helpful cause you didn't skip too much. Thanks so much for this video

Thanks for the video. Looks easy enough. Been looking for a good switch option for my lights and horn. I will be looking to purchase one of these. Thanks again.

Dude, go to Radio Shack or order a soldering iron from Amazon. You left a lot of wires exposed with the crimp connectors. While you are at it get a ground distribution block and wire loom to tame that rats nest of wires. But otherwise good job on the massive wiring job. It's the small things that take it look like a professional and organized job and you're really close!
@TheRoninChronicle8 жыл бұрын
Yea I realized post production that the gaps/connectors needed to be fixed. Thank you very much, I will look into the ground distribution block, I agree that needs to be cleaned up, definitely could look much better.

Looks very good. I wanted to see the underglow in the dark. When you had everything off and just have underglow on. You have pictures just of the underglow on?

Dude, seriously great video! I just did something similar but I used factory blank button locations. I was curious, how many aux items you're needing switches for. I have a Loaded trail premium and I think I have 6 blanks around the driver seat. I'll be using 3 total most likely. Why not just use the blanks?

😱 So I don’t need those wire harness with the relay anymore? I currently have 5 of those wire harness things 😭 Do you think this set up you did is the same for the new sp 9100? Hope you can help.
@TheRoninChronicle6 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes, you no longer need those giant relay cubes included. The panel has them inside. I'm sure its the same for the 9100 but you may want to double check with switchpros directly. But i dont think its any different. Thanks for watching!
@alohatcgcollector6 жыл бұрын
The Ronin Chronicle Thank you for your response! I really appreciate it. Just to make sure, I won’t need those fuses that’s included in the wire harness as well? Hopefully I do it correctly. I wish they had an updated install video for the 9100 :( Thanks again!

Awesome video! Just wondering why you needed to wire into the Turn Signal light?
@TheRoninChronicle7 жыл бұрын
Hello, I had to wire into the sidemarker light so that the backlighting of the panel can be adjusted with programming. other wise it would stay at 70%. Now I can adjust its briightness level to 10% or 90% as well. It could probably be skipped if you dont mind the 70%. Thanks for watching!

What is AWG of the battery cable, with the fuse in between, used to connect from the stud on the back of the panel to the battery?
@MichaelGauthreaux5 жыл бұрын
when you used the light harnesses did you still have the relay connected to them?
@donearl66754 жыл бұрын
you will no longer need the relay cause it is built in the unit.to save space.

Where did you get the pre-fitted ground wires used for each output switch ground wires?

Are in line fuses necessary for the accessories still? (Example: between the switch pro and LED light bar)

At what point do you need a second battery?
@joshuacabjuan47086 жыл бұрын
Just curious you don’t need any of the fuses that came with any of LED bars.
@TheRoninChronicle6 жыл бұрын
no you dont. the switch panel replaces those.

Did your hood lift support come in contact with module? I Attempted this same setup with 2017 trd trail premium and piston comes in contact with top back corner of module regardless of sliding module all the way forward on relay holder.
@TheRoninChronicle7 жыл бұрын
Hello, that is very strange. Mine does not come in contact with it no. I hope you are able to find a solution man! Thanks for watching!

Im curious how you got the cover back on the fuse panel under the dash. I tried a simular thing but stopped beause the cover doesn't go back on with the jumper.
@TheRoninChronicle8 жыл бұрын
Hey there, thanks for watching! I actually didn't get the cover back on because it won't fit with the add a fuse in there.

you spliced any wires into the factory wires? Looks like lot of stuffs you did in this vid's gonna void Toyota's factory warranty on the electrical component lol. I spliced my aftermarket daytime running light wire to the factory parking lot wire, works great! But possibly voided the warranty...
@TheRoninChronicle8 жыл бұрын
Hello, I did splice into the factory side marker lights only. I hope it doesnt void the warranty haha I guess I will have to call and find out
@71502858 жыл бұрын
if you let them know you did it, they probably won't take any responsibility which means voiding it. All warranty or insurance companies don't like taking responsibility....trust me

HI, don't you require the relay to power your lights ?
@TheRoninChronicle8 жыл бұрын
Hello, no the relays aren't required, the lights get power from the yellow and blue wires and each switch has 18amp except switch 8 has 30. hope this helps. here is the link to them directly in case you need professional electrical help www.switch-pros.com/contact_us thank you!

Just use a box cutter. You could have scarred the outline much quicker, cleaner, and then popped out the hole. I do this on a Jeep all the time.
@TheRoninChronicle7 жыл бұрын
great tip, thank you!
@Strikerage7 жыл бұрын
The Ronin Chronicle - I commented before I saw you use the Dremel for sanding down the edges. That's exactly what I'd do if I owned a Dremel. I'd still use the box cutter for the initial cuts though. Quicker and cleaner. Great video though. 👍
