I know you joked about the time in the end of the video, but going sub 2 hours in your first half marathon? That's an amazing accomplishment!! Great job, Daniel!

the ciara shots were the best. not just her shouting inspiring words at daniel, but also her leading/following shots with you two in-frame. whether her or someone else (though it will be hard to match the inspiration she added), plan this for future races or even trainings, every once in a while anyway. adds a special something.

This was one of the most moving videos you guys have posted. This is why I love working road races and am always the 20mi split timer. I love hearing family and friends cheer on their people as they push themselves to run their own race. Great work, Daniel!! Sub 2 is a great place to start and a great spring board for wherever your running journey takes you.

Ciara’s presence really helped make this half so much better. I was thinking about the running channel having a better runner pace someone and they just effectively go-pro'd the whole thing and edited all the good bits. The thought of you pacing Daniel for the half would probably be some huge youtube gold. Even better if you bring the children's pumpkin outfit out of retirement.

You two make the most emotional racing videos. They really show the ups and the downs of what it's like to put yourself out there in a challenge. Ciara's pep talk had me 🥹.

In some ways i think the footage is better than Daniel can get at your races,Take it as a compliment if you like? but i think its mainly the ability to get up close with smaller crowds, less runners and no barriers stopping you going wherever you like that you couln't get at those big city type events. It just kind of gave it something a little different. No one mentioned the really hard bit of editing? that was still Daniel i assume.

@@markm3747 yeah! I done it in 2022... At the start I'd say around 20-30 toilets...MASSIVE queues from a good 45mins before start.... Then there's toilets at the city hall (about 4 toilets...I had to stop there)... Then more toilets a good bit further on....then at the finish obviously....But as someone with bad IBS, I'd have loved more toilets spread throughout.... In comparison, apparently Berlin marathon has them every 5km
