Why on earth are You not clipping in the other blue rope carabiner, what good is it doing in your harness gear lope? Or the yellow/green carabiner hanging in front of you? Backup is key for safety in all climbing, especially if you have lots of time like when you are filming others. Climbing Instructor here.

Hello there. I am already clipped in. I have one carabiner on the ladder that is my resting lanyard and then I have to carabiners clipped on the rope with the shock absorber system design for via ferrata. For extra safety I always carry an extra carabiner that is on the shock absorber. It’s much shorter than my resting lanyard and not always adapted to all metal bars I could clip into.

Effectivement. Le timing est serré pour réussir à prendre le dernier télécabine. Sinon il faut descendre les 1000m de dénivelé restant à pied ce qui rajoute bien 2h de marche 🥵

Yes but remember the difficulty lays in the duration and the elevation of the route. So be sure to plan enough time ton climb this via ferrata.

Not sure what all the hate for ladders are, lol. Elitists? This climb is so incredibly high up I'm very sure a lot of people would consider this extreme. People who are scared of heights for example. Not everyone is able to climb rocks either and its much easier said than done. Why hate on accessibility? The view is gorgeous btw.

Not everyone has the level to do rock climbing. This gives non climbers access to places they usually can’t access. There are thousands of untouched rocks for rock climbers.

There are also some beautiful traditional climbing routes up there. Via Ferrata is meant to give access to non-climbers to this kind of places. There are thousands of untouched rocks that are available for sports climbers.
