I don't mind them blunted personally, I see them more as defensive than offensive. But there is a gen 3 with extra long blades would be a much better offensive tool

the batman gaunlets are nothing by cosplay lol...they wont help u in a real fight with swords and knife. Unless say ure fighting barehanded then ofc lol

@@tauhid9983 that's not even a fair comparison. These have solid protection but leave both hands free for climbing or crawling through a tunnel. They are compact, ergonomic and don't get in the way. A shield only does one of those things with considerable burden to stealth and mobility

Honestly I'm surprised, the sword breaker gauntlets were never a thing in ancient times, it looks like such an effective arm guard, It's pretty cool how the movies and modern comic books made batman's aesthetic spikes on his arm into an actual practical weapon.

I watched both this and the version 3.0 video. Which gauntlets would you say are better? I understand 3.0 has cushion in it and comes with hand guards, but i dont think the hand guards are necessary. Were the 2.0 uncomfortable without the cushions?

I definitely do not think they are gonna be that effective when it comes to a dude coming at you with a machete or a sword. Unless ure batman or smth.... I feel like it more of an edge to say 2 individual fighting barehanded

I tested them against katana and they block and trap very well. I also got a new much thicker and stronger version! Its better to block with these than bare fore arms against blade.

u spent $270 for aluminum bent around your arm with some “knives” on your arm that would break off so easy, u can make these at home so easily, maybe not the knives but the gauntlets are mediocre tbh, i definitely can see them being really good for cosplay tho but ur saying they would be good for real fighting so i think not tbh, but it’s just my opinion, so keep that in mind, my opinion doesn’t really matter, just wanted to talk abt this

Look at my video where I block swords and smash watermelons. It's called ultimate bat gauntlets. The new ones are twice as thick aluminum with shock pads. I explain that with even basic techniques you can deflect steel quite easily just as a wooden spear can deflect a steel sword before getting chopped in half. I researched gauntlets for along time and I made some also. Would love to talk more cheers!
