The Getting Started magazine is generally available to any retailer who orders from GW, from what I can tell, and should be available for a while :)

Thank you; this video helped me determine that the only one of these I want is Smoke Grenade Throwing Guy; all the others are fairly standard marines in fairly standard poses I own dozens of already. One trip to eBay later and I can stop bothering myself over whether it's worth tracking down a box of the whole set. Now if I ever want to assemble that kill team I can just use the one bespoke model and kitbash the rest.

Great rundown on these. No preorders online for the US that I can find at the moment but I'm seeing some links for Australian indie shops. Hopefully we find out about stateside availability (even just for the preorders) soon so we know when to expect.

I bought two boxsets, got two complete sets plus two extra copies of Brother Vignius, which isn't bad as though he's the most generically posed marine in my opinion he's at least easy to tweak with different heads. I was lucky to snap them up from a reputable online retailer, they're being scalped for stupid money on ebay last I checked and it's a real shame they'll be sold in so few countries. If you're fortunate to find any; one whole boxset will give you all seven characters plus a duplicate, getting a second boxset will provide you with both head/helmet options if you're a collector like me, but you don't need more than two.

It's probably late for my comment, but thanks, after watching this, i finally got 5 of them, then i found out that there are codes for each character, planning on getting the other two, probably, then a copy of the eliminator and the captain

This isn't the first time something wasn't available from GW directly, there have been whole games they created that they also gave out to distributors alone, sometimes only to very specific stores like Barnes & Noble, and I can only guess it is to reach businesses and customers that are less familiar with Warhammer.🤔🤷‍♀️

i'll have to keep an eye out to see what the prices are on these. Do they list on the box which specific marine you're getting? or is it like typical blind boxes and you're just told which one may be in a specific box and you have to get a case to get them all?

Typical blind box, none of the boxes are labelled and it is unclear if the lightly written codes on their sides are for a particular marine, since there are duplicate codes beyond the one fellow that actually is a duplicate 🤔 So the only thing certain for the moment is a case gets you one of each plus one :)

@@swordnsteele712 thanks for the reply. Unfortunate given the types of models that it is limited blind but, as you said, the captain, being cheaper in this than normally would probably get yoinked out of every set if it were easy to know what was inside.

No, not yet. As this isn't a GW release, I do not yet have the information on when it is to release, but I don't expect one would find it on shelves for at least another week 🤔

This was just done for some personalization if playing them in the smaller variant of Warhammer 40K, Kill Team :)
