@@Dumantii yes. The healing gets you your centering stacks so you can pop zen. I think this used to be a utility but now it’s standard If you don’t want to you can use “valorous call” I think…green ability and it’ll get you your 30 centering stacks. Otherwise you can jump in with force leap then alternate strike and slash till you have 30 and then start the rotation at zealous strike. But I wouldn’t do that on a boss

you can somewhat simplify it if you swap bladestorm and zealous leaps place and move up slash after concentrated slice. so you get: force leap zealous strike force exhaustion Burst, (Zen) Slice, Slash zealous leap blade storm blade barrage Burst, Slice, Slash repeat with zealous leap zealous strike ETC...

I'm a bit late but just wanted to give you a huge thank you for helping me with this spec. I've been an on and off player since Beta and just havent been able to keep up, but these step by step guides are an absolute godsend! And easy enough for my mud brain to follow a simple rotation (outside of pvp, because pvp has my anxiety misclicking buttons like crazy). I love the work that you do and hope you keep it up!

Do what I do. Pretend you're in a dungeon. Everyone is mobs whose mechanics are to stun. Slow. And interrupt you. Pick the safest mob pull and do your dps rotation. Cc them when you can

As u promised u uploaded this video,thanks a lot man,lately I've been playing a lot of pvp,my dmg overall was the highest when I was playing and even stacked up a lot of kills,but my only problem is I'm not op lvl fast to stack up my damage per second(the one u can see at the end of warzone) xD

First of all thanks for the guide. I main Combat Sentinel for years now, and due to how things are in 7.0 Combat, while very good at solo content, feels underwhelming for sustained DPS so I had to try the other two specs. With your guide, wearing 326 Thyrsian and purple augments I consistently can parse around 26-27K with about 47-48 APM on an operations dummy with shattered armour and no guild perks (this feels like a slow spec, considering Combat is about 55-60APM). That said, I want to offer an alternative that produces 2K more damage consistently, reaching 28-29K. I assume with 330 gear this can go up to 30-31K. This is achieved with altering 2 abilities in the ability tree: Debilitating Slashes instead of Transcendence Focused Meditation instead of Criticality This, while it might seem to be less powerful as critical percentages drop, allows for a full elimination of Zealous Strike from our rotation, as Focus costs are lessened and we can maintain our Focus with Zen, Blade Storm and Blade Barrage within the rotation. This essentially means we only DPS during our rotation instead of building Focus. This is your rotation: Leap Rebuke Zedalous Strike Force Exhaustion Adrenal Focused Burst Zen Consentrated Slice Blade Storm Leap Blade Barrage Slash (Dispatch) Focused Burst Consentrated Slice Slash (Dispatch) The good thing about your rotation is that it is self sufficient, with no variations between the opener and the rotation itself, and it allows for flexibility, especially when dealing with adds and trash in general. This is mine: Leap Zen Adrenal Focused Burst Valorous Call Zen Concentrated Slice ---- Leap Blade Barrage Slash (Dispatch) Slash (Dispatch) Focused Burst Concentrated Slice Leap Blade Storm Slash (Dispatch) Force Exhaustion Focused Burst Zen Concentrated Slice Once this rotation gets going, you eliminate the opener part. The rotation is focused on sustained DPS and maintains its Focus count while only dealing max damage. You sill break the rotation in four parts and the pace is the same. I urge anyone to try this, it really brings forth how much damage we can do with this spec at the moment.

@@petergriffin818 the abilities on the side are off cooldown. So 1) Leap, then off cooldown Zen and optionally any adrenal (if you have it, it is an biochem item, otherwise you don't, it is optional) 2) Focus Burst, off cooldown Valorous Call which allows you to enable Zen a second time. 3) Concentrated Slice Then you proceed with the next 3 parts, but once finished, the opener I just described is omitted, you repeat the rest (again, anything written beside an ability implies it is done off cooldown). But for this to work you need to make sure you have the specific perks I list above selected in the combat training, so that you spend less focus on abilities, otherwise you won't be able to execute this rotation.

Thanks a billion buddy! Been trying to figure out Sentinel disciplines with overall good damage and focus management. Your rotation actually helped me, I've never run out of focus on the ops dummy with alright dps (my toon is still level 78 with 318 gear). Appreciated!

Defensive Roll is totally removed (51 in the ability tree) with the 7.1 rollout. With 7.1, I'm still trying to find a conc sent build workaround. On day one of 7.1, I was in AOE hell in pvp. I'm probably going to try switching from "guarded by the force" to "force stasis" (68 in the ability tree). It seems like 7.1 nerfed conc sent's defense. I'll try to be like an infiltration shadow with my new build. There's a tactical where activating "transcendence" finishes the cooldown of "force camo". If they want to nerf my defenses, I guess I can learn how to be speedy gonazles!

Hey man, been following your guides a bit. Are you working on a Watchman Sentinel guide for 7.0/7.0.1? I started a Sentinel recently, completely new. Suffice to say, I completely suck at Sentinel and mastering it. I managed to get a fair bit into the Sentinel leveling, but I'm struggling to nail down its rotation and Focus upkeep.

Thanks man, that rythym and repeating is really helping out. I just made a level 70 and I guess only this way will I be able to practice from the get go close to the right rotation, albeit I won't have the 80 stuff but, should still be solid. I guess I need to do planet by planet unlocking now? I can't figure what to do really.

If you swap to marauder, it will change to fury. The class remains the same, but the names of the abilities and the animations are different

How do you get the ability tree to grey out all the items you have not selected? Mine show all and I can barely make out the white box around the skill I've selected. (Looks the way your ability tree is at the start of the video)

So if you use your energy regen while looking at your tree, it greys out all of the other options because you’re “locked” into your tree. It’s a dumb trick but it works

This is slightly different to my rotation in that you seem to be missing Zen for every second Concentrated Slice - is this intended? You'd rather not build a few more stacks with Slash to use Zen for every Slice?

If you replace focus burst with force sweep and every slash with cyclone slash, that should be the basics of an aoe rotation. It's kinda lame, but we don't have a lot of good options.

I'd use valorous call, so you instantly get 30 stacks. Then you can carry on the rotation as normal

You were wrong about Fearless Victor btw, it gives a 10% increase to Weapon damage (Also not functioning as it sounds cause it actually is factored in early in the damage calculation)

Yeah I kinda just breezed past it since it’s not really that interesting, it’s only weapon damage that’s buffed but it’s the BiS ATM and we don’t really think about it, mispoke in the moment though. Thanks for the heads up.

I am probably missing something here, but I just returned to the game after about 2 years. I unlocked the legendary implants, but the ones recommended here are only available with crit as the tertiary stat. Gen chat has not been helpful - how do I get access to them with alternate tertiary stats?

So back when this guide was released, the colors of the implants were not linked with the tertiary stats… why they chose to make that decision, we do not know. However, the colors have since been changed and are only offered in that single tertiary stat.

Why "Inspired Focus" though? That's a 5min CD and if you do have a healer, completely worthless. If it was 1/2 min CD, for sure, but I hesitate to take very long CDs for PVP. Most matches, especially 4s dont last that long :)

​@@jarbarian tbh we don't really care about the bloodthirst rage, we care about the passive ~2.5k HPS that you get for the duration of every encounter. Depending on how long the fight goes, it really starts to add up, especially if you aren't first target and are just passively healing AOE damage. We don't really have zen stack issues in this spec, which makes the generation and 2% dr generally worthless, and the slows can be nice if you choose to go with that. Honestly they're all kinda dogshit, this is just what I found the most benefit from. DF and Saboteur guides are up, sharpshooter is coming soon.

@@Biggsgaming THanks I will check them out. When I ask questions, its 100% focused on PVP. I do not do any PVE stuff, I just need to get better because a lot of people have studied their class so well that i don't know all the ways to counter them.
