This brings back memories. I spent a month in Australia back in July 2010 when I was 20. It was of course winter at that time, but still as beautiful. I was based just an hour off Sydney (meeting a friend made over the internet!), but we traveled up north to Surfers' Paradise and Australia Zoo, and then to Canberra, too. And then I spent a weekend in Melbourne and saw a bit of the Gold Coast. Can't wait to see the rest of your trip. It makes me so happy. I want to go back, but flying there... at the time I'd made sure to fly the brand new A380 to have a "short" & comfortable trip (12h + 9h, +1h from Paris).

I loved this video so much! My friend lives in Perth so this year for my gap year I was just going to fly over there and see her in Perth, but your travel videos (especially the solo inter rail ones!) inspired me to change by trip plan and fly to Cairns (by myself for 4 nights) then fly to Sydney where my friend is meeting me for a week, to fly back to Perth with her for a week and then on my way back to the UK, stop off in Singapore for 4 days solo! So I'm going away in 10 days time for a month and going to be doing it 1/3 solo thanks to your inspiring solo inter rail videos! ALSO we booked to stay at at Wake up! Sydney so now, after watching this video i'm even more excited! Can't wait to watch more travel videos from you, they're so perfect and informative Xxx
