It just proves that just because somebody does something wrong doesn't mean they can't be redeemed. Thank you tij for another wonderful story

That was a wonderful lesson indeed......Today I praise God for His constant mercy and grace toward us all.............none are deserving.......but like you said, our name is on the Cross......the Cross of His everlasting love and compassioon for all those who call upon Him. Thank you, and have a safe week ahead.

My ancester came out on the First Fleet in 1788 - he fought for England in the War of Independence in America [1775-1783]. When he returned to England he experienced the economic affects - not only the industrial revolution as you mentioned but the post-American War of Independence affects ---- trade England relied on for wealth was severely interrupted. Imports and exports experienced large drops and a recession caused stocks and land prices to plummet. Trade was also affected by naval attacks from Britain's enemies, and thousands of merchant ships were captured. The prisons filled with people trying to survive - literally. In any case, as a descendent I'm so glad he was sent here, as I live in what I think is the best country in the world!

This is an interesting well told story until 22mins in, when it suddenly became a religious program. Glad the religious aspect was saved till the end & I could opt out!

But I AM a convict sailing to another land! I’m guilty of living a life of sin. But I came to Christ & have forsaken my past. He’s forgiven me & helping me to learn how to conduct myself like His child. & I do believe I’m heading for a better land.🥰

You don’t mention that Ruse was named that because of its founder, James Hoskin - The Boss. They were both of Cornish extraction, thus a reason Hoskin admired Ruse.

Thank you for the extra detail, We try our best to include as much as possible but as our TV time slots are strictly 30 minutes we sometimes leave out a few bits, but thank God for social media, where we can share extra details. God bless you and thank you

There is another building like the "Sydney Opera House" and it's in Deli India. It's called the "Lotus Temple" and I have been there and seen it for myself.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, there is some similarities and the one you refer to was built some 13 years after the Sydney Opera House. God bless and thanks for sharing.

Great reference to Botany Bay and Australia’s Penal Colony history in regards to the Texas Revolt: Call the Texasses Sons of America? So are the inhabitants of Botany Bay sons of England, yet who will rank the transported convicts in New Holland with honest, reputable Englishmen? And who will rank Texans with the free and intelligent sons of the New England Puritans? The character of the Texan people is well known-their journals have given notoriety -travellers have published it to the world--their character is deservedly disreputable, and in some of its traits will not compare with that of the pirates who thirty years ago infested the Gulf of Mexico and the West Indies. Who will rank the murderous, thievish clans which infests every town in Texas, with the quiet and peaceful villagers of the northern states? When done, the deed is irrecoverable; therefore the project should be crushed now, and Texas, at all hazards, union or no union, should be, must be kept out! -Edmund Quincy & Dover Gazette, Anti Texas Legion Protest 1846

Informative but you need to get up to date on the reasons why the Bristish sent convicts. They were not desperate as there were plans drawn up for a large prison to be built on the banks of the Thames at Battersea. It was the race to beat the French which were on expedition to claim a place on the East Coast of Australia which spurred the Bristish govt to lay claim first and always pushed by Sir Joseph Banks. A very informative read by Catherine Ash who investigated this topic in depth and wrote a book about it.

A flotation device, such as a boat that raises up as it speeds up and so it has less drag in the water and travels faster. Thank you for your question

hehe just razzing you up. My mother took me on a hydrofoil ride once upon a time, c1980. Few people nowadays can say they have done such a thing. They were taken out of service ages ago.
