Great video! I also bought in Redcliffe in 2016. When you live in Sydney, Redcliffe seems like a great place. We could never understand why it was considered inferior by some of the locals.

Exactly ! we bought in Rothwell in 2014, which is 5 mins away driving from Redcliffe and the comments of locals from QLD say that it is a low socioeconomic area, which really surprised me as the area is beautiful. We are from Sydney so I agree with your point.

Margate great suburb. I was in the area a lot last year and i noticed the demographics of the area has changed a ton. You see far more bmws, audis people more affluent compared to 5-7 years ago.

Eric’s potential risk would be QLD’s labor government who frequently tries to impose bigger tax (ie land tax reform attempt) and penalties (ie limit the rent increase) on interstate investors.

I wonder how to go around serviceability. We have 1 investment property + principal residence and bank said we cant borrow anymore despite having equity.

Is it because of 'rentvesting' hence Eric is able to pull out equities constantly? As I feel a chunk of homeloan just tie up your borrowing capacity.

Don’t think Alexandra hills is a good choice in Brisbane. It lacks infrastructure in that area.Brisbane in 2023 still enjoyed 10% growth.

thanks for the interview. the strategy is simple. i am one of those who feel time poor and not confident enough to do it on my own. i have a good buyers agent but would like to do get to the point to find my own deals. it doesn't bother me to spend the money on the buyers agent but i feel a little less successful when using them. anyway one day i'll take the step to find my own deals.

Thanks for sharing. Yes confidence can be built easily through education and mentoring. Of course you need 3-5 hours a week over 1-2 months to DIY

bonjour.. please as politely as i can be WHILE WATCHING THOSE VIDEOS , why on earth people buy on a budget, ONE HOUSSE AT A TIME ?why can't WE think big?WHY WOULD we WAIT 10 YEARS TO BUY 10 PROPERTY , MANAGING 10 TIMES 10 TENANTS INSTEAD OF BUYING ONE BUILDING for example WITH 32 UNITS? THAT IS JUST ONE TRANSACTION with just one manager and a much better outcome. My name is AL , i am 61 years old and NO i do not have any housse and do not want one either . This is the worst investment you can make .... being on a budget. 😊al
