Those saltiga surf rods are amazing. Really worth the money......the strength they have considering their weight and sensitivity is incredible.

Great Video Alex. I'm looking at this reel as my first surf reel. I'm still learning so have a question. Are you spooling completley with braid then your leader or is there a good amount of mono on first, then braid + leader? Just trying to work out how much 30LB braid i'll need if I fill it completely.
@ryanmullings65732 жыл бұрын
Noob question but it says here he's using the 30lb braid but on the website it says to use the 14lb with this reel, is 30lb fine?
@DaiwaAustralia2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ryan, It's a recommended figure to indicate the expected spool capacity when using 14lb Braid. This will assist an angler to gauge how much they could fit when spooling a heaver/lighter line. However if an angler decides to use heavier/lighter braid the spool capacity will differentiate with different line ratings. In this scenario Alex has chosen 30lb braid incase he hooks larger predator species like kingfish and larger snapper. All in all 30lb on the Sensor Surf is fine!
