Small correction: - The Reaping: teleport within 12" instead of 9" (not 6", as mentioned in the video). Thanks for Melchoriuz for correcting me! - Vesperal Gem is once per turn, not once per game, so possibly a very strong pick. - Just want to point out that Spellsinger and Treesong both only work on an AWW and not Overgrown terrain. I might have glued those two terms together by accident, so keep that in mind when using this list! ;-)

Also you can reroll with primals just that you have to use a primal first then reroll if I understood the rules correctly. You simply cant choose to add a primal to a spell if you go straight to rerolling. Pretty sure you get the primal back if you reroll the primaled spell cast. I need to check that myself

Vesperal Gem also cannot be used to auto-summon a tree, as that spell isn't considered a part of the Lore of Deepwood

hey just so you know, with that battle tactic where you have to use 'from the woodland depths' and make a charge in the same turn, it still counts if you just walk up, charge, and then strike and fade because strike and fade is an ability under the from the woodland depths banner. This was confirmed in the sylvaneth faq before. Makes it a lot easier to score when you don't have to do it after teleporting! (though that works too)

@@olafolafsson2755 Exactly this. I honestly would rather have them drop their damage altogether and be a dirt cheap screen with a gimmick. Now they're just too explosive (POTENTIALLY) and that gets them a high price tag, but they usually don't deliver...

Love this. My List for a tournament looks 90% the same...just switching the 3 bows for seekers to get Dome movement and returning of swords.

Nice video. As someone just starting out and having a couple of games under my belt, this series is perfect. The battlemage has been leaked (I guess you recorded before that) and it apparently loses Wildform. The rest of the abilities look pretty uninteresting for us. My favorite units are Hero: Drycha overall (she's difficult to use but so rewarding when she works) and Durthu when you roll hot and he just leaves behind craters where he strikes. Always fun to have your opponent's eyes go wide when you tell them how much damage you deal Units: Skaeth's Wild Hunt for their uniqueness and teleporting TRevs to steal objectives and complete Battle Tactics

Great Video 😎 Would love to see you do this for Lumineth as well, at least for the most played factions, Zaitrec, Helon and Ymetrica. I feel like army building in this season is hard as the auto casts from Scinari Heroes and Teclis get stopped easily by Primal Magic.

hey! great video, for a new player like me it brought a lot of value! I just wonder why warsong revenant is so valued by ppl, what is his advantage over other leaders?

Really good video. Some questions though! If you had to go to 2 or even 3 drops, would it make more sense to just push it to 4 (as you aren't likely to deploy first) and then take the Command Entourage with the extra spell or Artefact? With only one wizard you could then take hoarfrost & verdurous harmony to keep bringing back kurnoths. And now with the incoming loss of the battlemage ability, what would you do with those 100 points? Drop dryads/tree revs and pick something else? Or just another spell like Geminids?

Hi Ben, thanks for the comment! I think going 2-drop (2x Battle reg) actually lets you go first quite often still, so I'd probably aim for that. But if you're going 3 or more, I do agree that Command Entourage is nice. I've done that a couple of times actually and it's okay, though not amazing. Usually I don't find myself lacking for options with the Warsong + extra caster. An extra artefact (Greenwood Gladius for example) could be more worthwhile, depending on your playstyle. When it comes to those 100 points, I'd probably follow my suggestion that I made for including the Branchwych. I kinda liked her + the endless spell that deals damage based on movement (my mind is blanking on its name so hard right now haha).

Now that we know the Battlemage isn't going to have WIldform, what changes would you make to the list? I think you could also drop the bows for a treelord, it's strong with the fight last to tag team with Durthu. Favourite unit is Drycha, model is so good

Drycha is stellar. I think I'd run the branchwych, but your suggestion could also be interesting 🤔.

So, list as-is, all you have to do to keep it a 2 drop is do two Battle Regiments. That said, you probably won’t use the Battlemage moving forward, so that would mean if you doubled up one of your troops units you could get it back down to a 1 drop

The question of the day is a hard one: how do you want me to choose between the Arch-Revenant and the Kurnoth? I don't have a specific story about them: to my eyes, they are the best-looking models in the Sylvaneth range

The gem is also not OPB, is each turn though if not taking sylvaneth lore then it is a wasted artefact as only works for the lore and excludes the summoning of tree. Love the acorn pick though, trees are important especially with half board deployments limiting 3 overgrown pick
