Quick correction thanks to MVP Ryan (thanks!): the Tree-Revs cannot use their free All-out attack/defense when a different unit from your army has used the same command (or is planning to). This is apparently mentioned in the core rules FAQ. So that's a minor strike against the Tree-Revs. Poor fellas.

I mostly use Gossamind for laughs. Sometimes they do nothing. Sometimes they delete a model three times their value in one unleash hell or shooting phase. I enjoy rolling the slot machine on them but they aren't super reliable. They're mostly better for skirmishing and being a ranged threat behind something else rather than a screen, being far more nimble than greatbows. Extremely vulnerable to shooting themselves though, and the wings SUCK to put them next to eachother... if I build another 5 I am omitting the wings...

Yeah, their bases really need to some weight, or they topple over all the time... I'm glad you find the enjoyment in their randomness. I mostly enjoy the predictability of units. If they're shit, I wanna know they'll always be shit and not pay more points for them. So the Gossamids aren't exactly my thing. But I gotta say I love your approach better. It's definitely more healthy as well :D

I finally got a box of Wyldwoods for my Sylvaneth ill start in 4E. Im going to hold off on buying anymore, however, until we get the actual warscrolls and army rules (or, at the least, the faction preview this week). Good to see that dryads have remained useful, since i have 48 of them from the old Start Collecting boxes.

I wanna start sylvaneth with the previous battleforce but im worried that dryads will be put in legends. What do you think?

Seems safe. If dryads would go into legends, we'd know by now. Have fun!

I agree with Strategoi. And when you look at the new warcry sylvaneth band that is going to come, you can see there is 3 dryads. So I don't think the unit will desappear... But maybe the models will have a new version in a couple of years.

@@ryanburruss I was about to say the same! Dreadwood's most likely going away as a Subfaction, so everything's up in the air. If you like the models, you can probably make it work at some point in the game. Though, since money's a thing, I'd probably hold off on dedicating yourself to a specific playstyle right now.

is it just me or is the tier-list weirdly out of frame in this video? cant see the top tier, nor can you see some of the options to the right of the screen

Yeah, something went wrong after I started recording... I wrote it at the start of the video. It's slightly tilted to the top of the screen, which sucks, but I thought the explanation held up enough to still post it.
