Sync Media Not Working 2016 Ford Fusion SE

Sync is not working in my car so I can't play any music from my phone. I can't access the sync menu to reset. I have tired pulling the fuse and disconnecting the battery, but it still doesn't work. The cigarette lighters also are not providing power to my phone charger. Anybody have these same issues?

Try unplugging and plugging Fuse F67 in the inside fusebox (with the radio on) if that doesn't work the first time, do it 2 or 3 times. That's how i solved the issue in my ford focus 2014

I have fixed the issue. I watched this video on 10-22-19 at 6:01 am. And i got an idea from one of the comments. I can confirm if you look under driver side under steering wheel their is a fuse bose. Use phone camera to find #32 it will be a red 10 amp fuse. Pull it out while key is on and stereo is on. Itll shut off when you do. Turn car off and replug in the same fuse. Turn car back on and problem is fixed. !!

To everyone who still has this issue I fixed an issue with my 16 fusion, my climate control/windows/full radio all went out at the same time. I pulled Fuse #33 under the steering wheel to the far left up high and turned the key to ACC not turning it over and it fixed the problem, plugged the fuse back in and everything works! Hope this helps! (If it's blown this will work with a new 20A fuse)

There should be a recall for this. Mine doesn’t come on at all. It would make loud popping noises. When I press power it just blinks like this. No radio, nothing. It’s been at least a year

You need a new module for the Bluetooth. I had the same issues. Easy install took no more then 15 mins. Good luck.

If nothing you have found does help: Delete connection on your sync, and on Phone. Remove 32, 33 fuses, start engine, let it work for 30 seconds, turn off engine. Then replace the fuses and add your Phone again.

My 2016 fusion has been messed up for a month. My sync wouldnt work one morning, 2 days later battery was dead. Had new battery out in car. Sync connected the moment the new battery was connected. When I parked the car and restarted, no sync. But car was good for 2 days...battery dead again. Just had battery replaced 3 days ago...sync worked until I parked car. Now car wont start again. I think it is something in this sync system.

It’s a fuse that you’d have to check if it’s burnt or not it’s the sync fuse that’s connected to the radio

Same problem, your APIM module has gone bad. Just upgrade from SYNC 2 to SYNC 3. You can find videos all over on how to do it and find them between $300-$700

Found a real simple fix everyone. 1 Remove keys from ignition. 2 turn radio on while car is not on and key still not in ignition. 3 use the media button to connect to sync. Had to try about 5 to 10 times but finally it reconnected:)

First try to unplug the battery and plug it back 90% that should fix the issue. If that doesn't work SYNC module probably gone bad. I had the same issue and i took the car in ford dealership to replace it. ( According to dealership its $1000 part) But i checked on ebay its like 100-150 $.

Muzi Spirit yes, I have a fiesta st200 in case you wonder the model. I think it's sync 1. Not sure. Anyway, disconnect the car-battery for 3-6 minuter and the settings should be reset. Worked for me.
