First time I realized these percussion loops existed, was when I downloaded for fun Arhitech's Dugara remix pack, and saw these type of loops. I was so impressed these things can make the difference to ur tracks imho. Thanks for this vid can't wait to sit down and experiment with this.

You also could habe used the envelope for the same stuff you used the lfo 1 for. This was you could create different patterns inside the midi pattern with more control over what sound comes next 😊👌🏻 Awsome toturials, I already learned so much here!!!

Hey Dash! Thank for your sharing of knowledge. It's really a big inspiration to see how you tweak your sounds to the next level! But I would love to see a video were you explain your workflow when creating a track (psytrance of course) both inside and outside the computer. For example if you have a note block beside you when working or have some ground rules for what you do first. And again thanks for your videos! Love'em!

Dash have you ever tried recording natural sounds.. like hitting a Can or hitting 2 sticks together in a tunnel or something like that, anything that creates weird echos & reverb's.. i live in Canada, back in the spring time, there was a bird, Woodpecker in a tree, so i recorded its pecking.. dok dok.. dok.. dok dok dok.. it just seemed cool to me how the tree resonates a kinda of really weird reverb.. Woodpecker's are loud LOL
@DashGlitch6 жыл бұрын
Yea I’ve done all sorts of natural stuff, I’ve got a kalimba and it’s awesome through a reverb for ambient stuff 😃 I’m still gonna get a portable recorder, and was hoping to do some found sounds/Foley episodes I the future

Nice patch man!!! Klaada has a tutorial where he shows the tones that different delay times/ speeds generates
@Mussi936 жыл бұрын
Yeah, he's done a really nice tutorial about that. I'm just using this opportunity to shamelessly share my track I'm working on where I used that technique. Still work in progress, but it works as an example :) soundcloud.com/nabupsy/psytrance-kabayun-nighttime-style-2610-update/s-nPwCZ

Great videos on this channel, good work. Can I ask how you're recording your voice whilst monitoring on speakers and not headphones? Do you not get phasing issues with the system and mic audio recording at the same time?
@DashGlitch6 жыл бұрын
Thanks 😃 I actually made a switch for OBS to switch between incoming signals so I don’t have that issue

Ah ok thanks. It'd be a tedious task of audio edits in post otherwise!

Hey bro love all your videos they are really great :) i was wondering if you could look at doing some more progressive melodic psy stuff. I am really keen on trying to get this sound that Unseen dimensions uses alot in his tracks kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4TMqHuLdpZqns0 Its this stabby noise 3:13 and also his chords at 4:18 Would be awesome thank you

I use as AUX - delay into a flanger . You go with 9 or 11 or 13ms 1/4 pattern or 1/3 or 2/3 (it changing the sound) or 1/1 or or the chorus with 99% feed , the delay 99% or 100% feed , X-feed 100% , what mean , that the delay goes 100% into the chorus okay , I posting the parameter of the FX . DUAL FX - delay and Flanger . beginning delay 13ms 1/4 pattern feed hicut 4k2 (but you move the parameter like DUBMIXING) feedback 98% or 100% crossfeed 100% balance +15 (-100 to +100) the Second is Flanger SPEED 0.56hz deth 100% delay 16.0ms phase 0 Feed 90% MiX 100% (because Send Return of AUX is the master of Mix level) . If You use the Parameter , You will hear , that the PATTERN parameter , delay ms , Ballance , feedhighcut the Way is to mixing the stuff directly . AHHHH , I have the FX on the Mixer , also can I check it , how good it is , before You give it "chorus into a delay" . delay into a flanger
@alfa156c3 жыл бұрын
YEAH , it is to Shpongle or ...... :-) I hearing the Fx with the Voice of You , next I check it with the Serum stuff in the Video . with 50% mix of the Voice of You in the video , it sounds twisted
@alfa156c3 жыл бұрын
4:26min in the video , I check it with the Delay into a flanger and the Stuff ist realy cool - parameter like the posting without movement circa 50%mix over AUXSENDS - it looks like 50% on the Display . You can hear it , if the parameters right, You jumping to the sounds
@alfa156c3 жыл бұрын
5:26 in video I am not mixing the EQ live , but yet it sounds good , with 4 fx over AUX . it is the original + the aux x 4 rotary speakers 40% , vintage reverb (like dub parameters) 20% , stereo delay 30% (stereo 2/3 94ms offset feed cuts etc like dubmixing) timed with TAB if you pitch the bpm in a track , and dual Fx delay+flanger 50%.
@alfa156c3 жыл бұрын
lol - the parts are to psychadelic , if You speeking - I give more Mix on stereodelay , vintage reverb , 25% on delay+flanger - cosmic space sound
