Another good general piece of advice once you kind of figure out what behavior she has that indicates she's going to do a waterfowl, throw a knife or some other projectile when she's annoyingly standing around and getting ready to do one. It messes people up when shes does this because she won't water fowl until the player tries to advance on her, but throwing something at her will bait her into doing it without you getting close

you can, but you can not use it. If enemy goes into short sleep without critical strike it is almost useless to have sleep build on him

The game certainly has flaws that can't really be fixed without a major overhaul, so it's great to see them fixing what they reasonably can. No game is perfect but From being humble enough to consider community feedback goes a long way to bringing their magnum opus as close to it as it can be

It's so weird that the rare status effect which is only a stun can't interrupt a lot of moves (if any) while the common status effects which are primarily for damage can interrupt any attack. It doesn't look like the duration remotely balances that out in the vast majority of cases. On top of that, it seems that more enemies are immune to sleep than bleed and frostbite

It's kinda dumb when they're susceptible to sleep, but only suffer it for a second or less. Might as well just make them immune to the status effect at that point, because they effectively are as the player can't take advantage of it in any meaningful way.

The mimic tear rock throw was added a few updates ago. I did some in depth testing on that since it used to be able to do nothing at all if given two bows and no ammo

Nah, been using bleed katanas whole playthrough, they stop being viable at round makekith since bleed straight up isnt worth it for the damage it does, my +24 greatsword deals the same amount of bleed damage that my +9 RoB did but takes only a hit

23:42 From my experience and what I've seen she doesn't seem to really have a proper cooldown, or it's just not applied to every time she can react with Waterfowl... I did an incantations only run a while ago and Malenia seems to pretty much always follow up with Waterfowl if she dodges from a distance and at least that follow up does not seem to have a cooldown

You can roll right through Radahn's flying corkscrew attack. Literally just roll towards the corkscrew when it gets close, and he flies through you. The timing might be hard for some players. I can only speak for myself when I say I have never been hit even once by that corkscrew attack. I have been whacked plenty of times by his meteor fall though.

the exact increase isnt known but it does get harder to activate any statuses after the initial proc

@@syrobe they have a similar dash finisher as well! namely morgott and Godfrey in phase 2. right arm thrown behind the back, their torso and head angled towards the ground, and left arm grounding them as they slide. godfrey does it more rarely but it is very noticeable
