This is exactly what he needed to learn. The art of it must be practiced before it is sensationalized. It was so good it could have been part of a movie because the moment teaches respect. It shows the fighting spirit is channeled in respect for it's power. Like a person inexperienced with wielding a weapon a lack of respect and discipline can cost you more than your pride.

Unfortunately it didnt work out for him at all. As far as the kid walking out the door, we dont have any evidence of what happened after the cam went off, so not sure how you arrived at that conclussion. Who knows he may signed up for a class in the office. Regardless, the guy learned a good lesson of being humble and respectful to a business owner conducting business.It would be one thing if coach laid him out cold during the sparring session, but he didnt and sure could have.

Nah, that’s the way everyone who hasn’t been punched minimum 1000 times dodges, there’s still a high chance that he actually bullies weaker people around him who can’t hit properly and beats them up, not “to save his life”, though one good punch to his face showed him how it is so he started working instinctively by fearing the hits. I personally never experienced such a situation,most people just respect boxers quite naturally so you literally have to be insane to challenge a boxing couch.But from time to time I encounter guys who come to boxing gym to "learn something" and then just go crazy in sparring they want to knock someone out.few solid punches usually humble them greatly and they almost never come back,they go back to the street to bully the weak ones

That kid got exactly what he needed, A lesson on respect. Some things you just don’t do, and this was one of them. The teacher showed immense grace too. Don’t touch the stove and you won’t get burnt, lesson learned.

The coach is a great mentor. He taught this kid a very valuable life lesson. Most likely, the kids been watching a lot of tv or anime and thought he could realistically walk into a gym and mess around without any actual real proper training. Best part about this was the coach’s reaction after. That’s how you humble someone. His actions spoke louder than his words but they made a great team (his words+actions). Salute to that gym coach.

He taught him how to be a man and have respect. I would even say that I believe that kid might have joined that gym and became great friends with that coach. Like firas zahabi says some people don’t know the reality of violence , most people without training are delusional in their ability, unless you’ve trained untill you’ve almost puked and then pushed past that and come back the next day you most likely don’t know how much cardio it takes, if you have never sparred before you don’t realize how many levels you are truly behind someone who trains regularly, it’s not easy to skip, shadowbox . Hit pads, drill technique , and spar three or four rounds and that’s a beginners level.
